Very noisy 4/16/2006

I've been to this Cheesecake Factory a couple of time. Around lunch and dinner time, parking will be hard to find close by in the parking lot. You need to either come a bit earlier or just park further away from the restaurant. The waiting is quite long. At least 30-45 minutes. Once seated, they staff comes and takes your order. They are usually very friendly. This is not a place to have a quiet romantic dinner but mostly a place to eat and hang out. The portions are big and the prices are not too high. The have about 250 items in their menu so you will find something that you like. Their cheesecake are huge! I usually share it with someone or just bring some back home. They have a large selection on cheesecakes too. I've eaten a couple of them and they were all delicious. Nice place to eat but be aware that you will have a long wait. more

Good Food - Too Noisy 10/15/2005

While the food is good and the menu has a lot of variety, the atmosphere in the restaurant is too noisy - we sat in a booth and had to yell across the table to carry on a conversation. The service was adequate for this large of a restaurant and how busy it was during lunchtime. All the food ordered was to everyone's liking and of course, we all ordered dessert! This location was a definite improvement over the one in Union Square in S.F., where we were told the wait would be about 45 minues and almost 2 hours later we were seated. Our food came out not as we had ordered and we were given nothing when we complained. more

Just your normal Cheesecake Factory 9/17/2005

Cheesecake Factory is synonymous for: 1) Long waits (1 hr+) 2) Great Cheesecake (expensive!!) 3) Expensive Food This Cheesecake Factory is your protypical Cheesecake Factory, which fits the above descriptions. The few times I went there I waited about an hour to be seated, both times were with a party of 6+ however. I know that if your party is smaller, then you tend to move faster and the wait is much shorter. Cheesecake Factory gives a very good selection of breads which comes with the meal. I personally like their rye bread. What's nice is that they give you 3 types: white, wheat, and rye. And when it's served, it's toasty hot. The cons about this place is that it's hard to find. I thought it would be near the Arden Mall, but it's actually a bit further away. Another con is that the prices are expensive. Many vegetarian items are just as expensive as meat dishes. Over all the atmosphere of this place is pretty good, although it can get loud at times. The cheesecake is excellent! more

Party-hearty 8/18/2005

The Cheesecake Factory is a great place to have a birthday dinner or celebrate any occasion. You can experience it in smaller crowds but I don't think that you can truly experience it without a party. They offer a wide variety of foods from pizzas to pot pies and of course the usually desert selection of cheesecakes. They do not accept reservations so for a party of 14 on a weekend would take about 1.5hrs. The good thing is that you can easily shop in Arden Fair while you wait. They have a bar with drinks that are made fairly well (Long Island, Daiquiris) but there are drinks that are not up to par (Pina Colada since it is barely alcoholic). Overall I would say that it is a good place to eat, although a little pricey. Additionally due to the large crowds of people it tends to get noisy but not to the point where you are straining to speak. more
