Sacramento State is a wonderful university. It's surrounded by native trees and it's obvious with all the leaves on the ground when the wind blows hard. I believe it has a few impacted majors--including Nursing, Criminal Justice, and Computer Science--which means those are a bit tougher to get in to because those programs are the best ones in the University.

This Junior College is set in a beautiful part of Sacramento filled with the native trees. The campus is pretty large in comparision to other Junior Colleges. The college has a great staff that is very well educated and great relationships with there students. There is a nice cross section of courses: not just for the purely Academic.

Cosumnes River College is a great school to start from either out of highschool or middle aged. If you plan to transfer, CRC is a place to start. CRC is a great campus; alot of trees and easy to find where you want to go. Parking is not much of a problem either. If you do not have money for taking classes, there is always financial aid, and the bogg fee waiver which pays for all your fees and classes. CRC is also a great school just to take courses for another state of university. CRC is a great place to take GE courses while your close to home. Here is the website to their page, www.crc.losrios.edu. Look around, there are alot of options.

I was signed up to take a Power Point class, and I was dreading it! I had recently graduated from College where I had taken an entire semester in PowerPoint, and didn't think that I'd be able to learn anything new, and just be bored the entire time. I was wrong! I learned a lot of new things, and the instructor seemed to know the program inside and out. He was very informative, and even gave us the resources to contact the school if we had any questions afterwards. All in all, very worth the money and time spent.

I love community college; especially City College because it has a community feel, all ethnics and theater, vocational training, beautiful library and some teachers have taught there for quite awhile.
City College is across from one of the best parks in Sacramento, William Land Park, with lots of shade and grass, ponds, ducks -- just perfect for a student -- who needs a break from school.

For the past year I have been enrolled in the Graduate School of Mangament program for working professional. This is a great opportunity for me to advance my eduation while I continue to work full time. the classes are convenientyl held during the evenings and often on Saturdays so they do not interfere with work schedules. The MBA program for working professionals does take some time. The program is between 3 and 4 years.
