My husband and I were referred to the restaurant at arden hills (Mangos is what it's called) by some friends that are members. I heard it was really bad in the past, but we had a great meal!!! I didn't know you could even go there if you weren't a member, but you can. I'm tryin' to loose my baby weight so we trying to eat healthy. Mangos has a ton of stuff on the menu that is not only yummy buy healthy! I tried this stuff call quinoa (not even sure how you say that), but it was really good. My husband had the bison burger, which is a healthier version of a cheeseburger. Also quite yummy.
Pros: DELICIOUS, but healthy too
Cons: dark restaurant

I have lived in Sacramento for over 50 years and was not familiar with The Inn at Parkside until a friend recently told me about it. My wife and I stayed in the Tranquility Room and it was fantastic. The bath was very relaxing and the bed was soooo comfortable. The room was tastefully decorated and had two nice comfortable chairs that we sat in and looked out the window through a beautiful tree that shaded our room. We turned on the ceiling fan and escaped into a feeling of being in a tropical paradise. We were rewarded with a great night's sleep and had an outstanding breakfast. We were the first ones up so we felt special and the food and service was exceptional. This was the nicest B and B that I have been to and I recommend this place to all the over 50 crowd in Sacramento that has not had the pleasure of staying there. This is one of the best kept secrets from us "mature" folk here in beautiful Sacramento.

My wife & I spent 18 hours at the Inn & Spa at Parkside in Sacramento to celebrate our35th anniversary. We loved that the staff was attentive to every detail of our stay. Our room was beautiful and spacious enough that we had space to spread out our belongings. To our surprise, there were strawberries dipped in chocolate and sparkling wine waiting in the room. At 9pm after an early dinner we slipped down the hall from our room and had a late evening massage. Next morning, instead of my usual daily ritual of a โbowl of rocksโ (Grape Nuts), we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and a walk through the adjacent park. This is a very good bed & breakfast that I recommend to everyone.

The Hyatt is very nice. Upscale and convient to the Capitol and everything else downtown. Nice pool/bar area. Lots of law makers seem to stay here.
First class service and even better food in the restuarant.

We had our wedding restaurant at this location over a year ago, and I am still hearing how beautiful the site was, how great the food was, and how attentive the staff was. It's one of the more expensive wedding venues in Sacramento, but well worth the money, in my opinion. They went out of their way to arrange all of our special requests for the day.

My husband and I were married at the Sterling Hotel in February and also stayed in the Huntington Suite that night. I cannot express how wonderful the ENTIRE staff was to us! From the wedding coordinators to the front desk to the waitstaff--everything was like a dream come true. The morning of my wedding, waitstaff ordered champagne up to my room and that night, we forgot to pack toothpaste and the front desk went to fetch some and bring it to us!!!
I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. If you are thinking of having your wedding here or even just staying for a night or two, we highly recommend The Sterling.

The rooms look out onto a tree-lined street and are in buildings restored to their historic Victorian styles. The fancy bedding, in-room breakfast, and night time desserts make it a great romantic getaway. Donโt have a cable or need silverware? Just ask! The staff was willing to help with everything, including bringing me a DSL cable! And the spa tubsโฆactual Jacuzzi-brand tubs, soooo good! The beds were a little stiff, but more pillows helped.

We have been to the Sunday buffet several times and the food is always good. You order the main part of your meal from the menu and use the buffet for the rest. It's hard not to eat too much.
Sitting next to the window by the pond is very pleasant. Families of ducks and geese always entertain.

I was here for a meeting last week and was checked in to one of their "new" rooms and i was very impressed, it was so big and the bed was one of the softest i have ever had. Staff was nice and had good service. Its not a 5 star resort but for the price i recommend it.
