If you've never had a dessert from the Tower Cafe, you haven't lived yet. They are the best I've ever had from the east to the west coast. It's hard to pick just one. The menu is short, but full of variety. Whether you're looking for steak, salad, or a sandwich you'll find great choices. The breakfasts are wonderful as well. The french toast is the best. They dip the toast in a custard batter. It's so sweet and wonderful you don't even need the syrup!! I also love the patio. With several large water fountains, plenty of foliage, and birds chirping above you it's a small piece of paradise carved out of mid-town. Kids are also welcome, and w/ all the chatter blend right into the atmosphere. The is my favorite place to eat, and bring friends/family to.

I can only describe this bakery with one word, and it is “wow.” This bakery has a wide selection of delicious muffins. It also has cookies and bread. I got a piece of the chocolate cake recently there, and it was so good I thought I was in heaven. The coffee there is surprisingly good.

There are two reasons to go to Ettore's. The food and the desserts. They serve a modest lunch and dinner menu, with soups, sandwiches and salads being the predominant fare. They also have a large dessert and pastry display, and you will want to make sure you save room, because the desserts are amazing! They have things I never even thought about making, like a white chocolate strawberry cake. They have fruit tarts, pies, bagels, breads, etc. The lunch menu is always very tasty, and the breads are usually an italian or other European type, which are seasoned, and delicious.

New Roma is a traditional bakery. Once you go inside, you can smell the bread baking in their ovens. They make their own bread, sweets and coffee. They have wonderful selections on bread and desserts. They also have a nice place to sit inside or outside to sip your coffee or eat a light lunch. Their sandwiches are delicious and always fresh. Great place to get your baked goods or to take a breather and drink a coffee. Great "old fashion" bakery in Sacramento!

This is by far the best place to have lunch in the North Sac area! Great food, excellent service. The portions are huge and even their burgers are awesome.
Make sure and get the Iced Tea for a beverage, they have some type of brewed tea that was awesome and cheap too

Ehh, lame joke, but this donut shop is no joke. I have stopped by Donut Fair a few times to pick up some maple donuts, and boy, they are to DIE for! Although I am fond of their maples donuts, Donut Fair serves various bakery goods. Not to forget, their coffee goes GREAT with their baked goods. I highly recommend this shop if you're somewhere in the neighborhood.

I like going to this store although it is not in my neighborhood. I don't know how I some times end up here but I do.
The reason I like this store is because it's spacious and the staff are caring and I can easily find items.
I don't get confused over all the stuff that is going on in the store; it feels nice a calm.
The deli area is clean. The bakery has wonderful choices; it's heaven sent.
