I've been to other zoos and Sacramento has a small one in comparaisment. They admission is not expensive and you can pretty much go around the zoo in 1-2 hours.
They have most of the regular animals but some are missing like the Elephant, Polar Bear and Hippo. Some cages seem too small for certain animals but they look like they are taken care off.
My daugher likes to watch the chimps play and the tiger roam.
They have a small food shop at the zoo but the prices are high and the food is like a fast food place.
They also have a reptile building and a stage where they have shows. There's also a small playground for the children.
It's a good place to bring children since they do not care how big a zoo is. Try not to get there around lunch time since you won't see most animals.

Recently I purchased a fridge there. The place looks the same. They have alot of appliances in floor so that helps in finding the right one. You can negociate in this type of store which I like.
If you're a woman and no one else is with you, the salepeople seem a bit "car dealership" type of seller. I stuck with an older man that my husband and I spoke to on a previous night.
They also sell cameras and camcorders but I did not linger there to see what else they sell.
If you want to see alot of appliances first hand, this is the place to be. You can also negociate which is what i like to do.

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times. Parking is situated across the street and gets full easily during lunch and dinner time.
The staff and friendly and they serve your meal quickly....

The staff and friendly and they serve your meal quickly. I love eating at their terrace when the weather is nice. The have gas heating lamps in case the night air gets a bit chilly.
The food is tasty and not too expensive. It's a great place to share a meal with friends and family.

They have sales on their lines so that helps when spending alot od money there. I usually go shopping there if there's a special occasion to go to. They also carry shoes, hair accessories and other items to dress up your child.
They carry newborn, baby and children sizes. A super children store but very expensive.

This is my favorite clothing store in Sacramento. They have a Petite section which is great for small women like myself.
The staff is friendly and they mostly have my size. The clothes are beautiful and well made. I have outfits from 5 years ago and they are still great since their clothes run on the classix style.
The fitting room is nice and bright. The clothes are a bit more expensive but the quality and the cut is what makes out the price.
They also offer shoes, accessories and jewlery. You can also order thru their catalog in case they do not have your specific size. A nice clothing boutique.

The baby selection is ok but sometimes you can't find what you need or the packaging of the item seemed to be a returned one. I'm leary in getting a ripped box since I don't know if maybe the item is slightly damaged.
It's sometimes hard to find someone to help you. They're either in packs or it's empty of employees in certain departments.
If you need a toy, most likely they'll have it. The prices are what other places sell for. It's a big chain store so they have many items.

The have a nice Petite section and I mostly find my size there. The prices are a bit high but the cut of the clothes fit me better than some other boutique stores.
The staff is a hit or miss thing. Sometimes I get a very helpful lady and other times, all they care is to sell sell sell!
I go there once in awhile when I need nice clothes for a special occasion.

They have a nice selection of clothing for women, men and children. They carry designer name clothes but the prices are a bit cheaper than the regular Nordstrom store.
Parking is hard to find so you better get there early in the morning to find a space.
