I just saw them on the Today show and HAD to go in. Really impressed with the service & food. It was fun to watch everyone going in to and out of Piedmont Park. Looks like a great place to hang out. I will definitely be back! Oh - I almost forgot - I came for The Bloody Best. Look it up. You will be blown away. more

Amazing. Period. I had the Ahi Tuna Salad last time I went and it was delightful. I am a die hard regular and also love the Shrimp & Grits and the Blackbean Burger. I don't eat much meat but my husband just loves the Shrimp & Grits Burger & the SOCO Burger as well. Favorite meal is brunch on the patio (truly one of the best in Atlanta) - me the Eggwhite Omelet and for him the Spicy Hash. Had the Bloody Best a couple weekends ago...if you haven't heard of it or seen it take a minute to Google it. It's all over the Internet and deserves the yummy recognition. Perfect hang over cure or breakfast. Service excellent. Managers Meagan & Stephen always very nice & helpful. Bartenders Maya and Kelvin and MJ are awesome. Best part - the do a ton of good for the community. Try Drink for the Trees to benefit Piedmont Park and any other day you go in they are having an event or donating to a good cause. Not sure how many other neighborhood restaurants do that but I don't think it's many and I've grown to love mine. more

Worst Resturant in Midtown 4/3/2011

This is the worst resturant in Midtown! The service is terrible. It took 45 min to get lunch to us. The wait staff were not friendly, and my sandwich was terrible. The patio was WAY over crowed and loud. It you like paying $10.00 for tater tots then this is the place for you. Food was very average at best. I would not seek this place out! more

Tot-tastic!!! 3/13/2011

Wow!\r A dear friend insisited I try this charming little spot, and finally treated me to a fine lunch here. What a treat!\r The service was great (our server was QUITE the character) and the food was very memorable.\r I enjoyed the Redneck Totchos - tater tots topped with babrecued pork and cheese sauce! Awesome!!!\r I strongly recommend this reasonably priced gem for a casual meal. Now that spring is upon us you should take advantage of the very cozy patio and treat yourself to a French Mimosa!!! more

Amazing Patio/Great Brunch/Friendly Service 8/5/2010

The patio at The Nook is amazing! The patio is comfortable, shaded mostly so it stays cool, and best of all, it overlooks Piedmont Park. The food is also spectacular. The brunch is my favorite. Great food, good prices, really neighborhood friendly atmosphere. Delicious dish called Totchos. Great times. more

Paying for location 7/4/2010

Came here for brunch. Location is good, right on the edge of the Park on 14th. Great outdoor area. The Service was very slow and my waitress was so close to our table that she almost stabbed me in the eye with her pen. Annoyed. The food was good, but I feel like you're paying for the location. I ordered the egg white omelette which was tasty and fresh, but pretty small. It came with a piece of toast, which I apparently got the end piece of the loaf. My friends ordered the breakfast sandwich with tots, and the blueberry waffle. All of them were pleased. Average place to go if in a fix, but def. don't seek it out. Pros: Location, outdoor seating Cons: Service more

not going back 5/7/2010

Been to the Nook twice now and I don't plan on go back ever!! \r The service was extremly slow for a mid afternoon lunch, took 45 min to get our two sandwiches. and when they came our sides were not what we ordered. I had the bbq sandwich which wasn't bad but not great either. my friend had the lamb burger, she ordered it med........ it was well done. all and all pretty annoying! Pros: great patio Cons: everything except the patio more

Nook's Totchos = Heaven on A Plate 3/9/2010

The Nook is right on Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta. It is a breath of fresh air with an open air patio surrounded my the beautiful scenery of Piedmont Park. We went for lunch and received a complimentary plate of Nacho Totchos which are the same thing as nachos just with tator tots instead. This is the bottom picture of the empty plate. They were so good that I couldnt even get a picture in time before they were demolished. The Totchos were crispy tator tots topped with a light cremy cheese sauce, sour cream, and bacon. I personally ordered the veggie quesadillas for lunch with a side of tator tots! The veggie quesadilla was filled a bunch of grilled vegetables and monterey jack cheese. It came with a side of sour cream and pico de gallo. My coworkers ordered the Duley Chicken Salad (pictured above) and the Grinder sandwich (pictured above). Both of them loved their meals as well. I would also recommend getting the sweet potato fries (not pictured) as a side as well. They are the perfect crispyness with just the right amount of salt to bring out the incredible flavor of the sweet potato. The restaurant was rather empty for lunch with only a few other people there, but overall the experience was incredible. If you ever want to take advantage of a beautful day in Midtown Atlanta for lunch then The Nook on Piedmont Park is definitely the place to do it!!\r more
