Wow, What a company. We called the agent/realtor partway through our 2 and a half hour trip for a showing saying we may be 15 min late only to be very clearly told she was too busy to wait any longer than that. So we made it only 5 min after the original time and guess who shows up 20 min late. Also forgot to tell us they have a standard policy of double or triple booking showings. She immediately got involved with discussion with the other couple, totally ignoring the fact we were there. Before she arrived we spoke to the current tenant who said it was not unusual for her to show up unannounced for a showing in the middle of his sleep time (he and his roommate work nights--and she knew that). His roommate was, in fact, still sleeping in one of the bedrooms. When we expressed our concern about the double booking and not being acknowledged, the ""realtor"" said ""well I simply don't have time to come out here 10 times a day."" She clearly had respect for only Her time and Her schedule. Her flippant, disrespectful attitude and her blatant disregard for our presence and the distance we had traveled to see the property led us to simply leave. Of course while we had been waiting for her we had time to tour the ""property"" . It was an absolute DUMP!! The pictures of it online were nothing like the current condition of the home. Talk about misrepresentation.\r \r I took the time to call the ""home office"" and received a ""sorry 'bout that"" style reply with very little responsibility for his company's attention to customer service. That's when we happened on this website......After reading some of the other reviews it looks like lack of customer service extends to after the sale as well. Now we are actually glad and feel blessed we did not get locked into any type of agreement with these people. Buyer/Renter Beware!!! Always read reviews before trusting people will be true to their word.\r more

I completely agree with Courtney C's comment. They can't repair anything in the home until the owner's of the home approve it. Then, if the owner's won't approve it, then it doesn't get repaired. We waited 4 months for a new microwave/vent over our gas stove after they took the old one out that was only holding on by one screw and could have fallen on anyone at anytime. Also, the heat/air in the smallest bedroom still doesn't work right, and our son had to spend the winter sleeping in our room because his was freezing all winter (which is ridiculous because this past winter wasn't even that bad of one). Plus, the finger system connected to the septic tank needs cleaned out, but they won't do it because the owner's of the house don't think its necessary (although a plumber said it was) and so when the dishwasher or washing machine drains, water backs up in the kitchen sink and bathtub, and don't even think about running the dishwasher or garbage disposal or washing machine simultaneously in any combination of two. more

Seems like a good place to rent from until something goes wrong. If something goes wrong as your rental property they will then contact the home owners and depending on how responsive your home owners are it might get fixed within a week. Or they might send one person out who can't fix it so then you have to start the process all over again. (We didn't have air for 2 summers) Then the final year we lived there the home owners contemplated selling the house so we didn't re new our lease until June 7th even though our previous lease was up May 31st. It was very frustrating! Then after moving out they charged us a ridiculous amount for minor wear and tear. $486 to repaint two bedroom walls, one with a huge window. $111 for a missing oven rack? Who steals oven racks? $55 for a garage door remote that we never had and only 1 garage door ever worked. $330 in landscaping to de-weed and trim trees/bushes. Those are just a few of the $1600 in charges. So if you do rent from them good luck! I hope your experience is better than ours, but I won't be renting from in the future. more

Good People to Deal with! 3/9/2011

I have known the guys at T&H Realty for going on 8 or 9 years now. As a vendor who works on their homes, I have had very good experience with the company. They are honest people, do what they say, and have good communication. I see them making improvements to their homes often as i come by to clean the carpets. If you give them the chance they always make it right. I would recommend them to anyone! more

All Tenants are treated fairly 8/20/2010

In response to the below review and as the President of T&H Realty Services, this complaint is best summarized by quoting the Better Business Bureau's finding... ""...the Bureau has determined that the response from your company addresses the disputed issues and exhibits a good faith effort to resolve the complaint. Therefore, the Bureau has decided to close the complaint and not pursue it further."" We offered this Tenant many alternatives, but she simply wanted out of the lease. To accuse us of being only interested in money is not only unfair, it's just plain wrong. My staff spent a great deal of time and effort to work with this Tenant. She signed a contract after viewing the property and, for whatever reason, wanted out of the contract without suffering any financial consequence. We're honestly very sorry she feels the way she does. more

Do not rent from T&H Realty 8/19/2010

This is concerning the house on 1458 North Euclid Avenue in Indianapolis. There were multiple problems on the move-in date, including that only the refrigerator was in working order (the stove had no pilot light, dishwasher had standing water with mold and insects, and garbage disposal was not functional), there were drawings and scuff marks on the walls, the plumbing in the one bathroom was not attached to the wall, and there was still furniture in the basement. Additionally, the back door would not open, the top step of the basement stairs was uneven, and the HVAC system hadn't been inspected (nor the filter changed) since 2006. The worst of the problems was excessive mold in the basement. Because of my previous respiratory infection problems, I requested a professional evaluation of the mold in the basement. The mold covered all of the walls, the beams supporting the floor above, the drywall, the fiber board, and the shelving and furniture left in the basement. The colors of the mold ranged from green to black, with black mold generally being a toxic fungus. I found a contractor agreed to view the home for free, but T&H refused to do this. This company hides behind an ""owner"" that the tenant is not allowed to contact, and claims that the owner refuses to pay for repairs. Your only advocate is the company, and the company will advise this ?owner? on how to make money, not how to best serve a tenant. If this house were to be inspected by the Marion County Health Department, I guarantee it would be declared uninhabitable. Although it was not delivered in a safe, clean, and habitable condition as required by law, I still had to pay two months of rent to get out of this lease (for which I received absolutely no benefit) because I cannot afford to front the money for a lawsuit. If you are considering renting from this company, beware. This company is only out to make money and will do anything possible to cut corners, even if you have legitimate and reasonable concerns for health and safety. more

T&H Realty = Reliability 7/31/2010

Each person we have worked with at T&H Realty was professional and polite. Whenever we had an issue (which was hardly ever) our concerns were handled in a timely manner; they worked around our schedules. We never seemed to be a ""bother"" to them. Upon lease agreement, Paul Linn stated the owner may install new windows because the others were very old and painted shut. They delivered on their promise, and just in time for winter! Our house was wonderful, we were only leaving because we are moving out of state. Had we stayed longer we might have asked that the floors in the kitchen and bathroom be replaced because they are old and no matter how much you clean them, they still appear dingy. The tenant website (aka, portal) is convenient, but it needs a bit of an update. We will sincerely miss this place. Who knows, maybe when we move back to Indy (and SoBro of course) T&H Realty will sell us our first home! Pros: New windows installed. Quck maintenance calls. Cons: Tenant website needs updated. more

Fast, Friendly, Professional 7/30/2010

This was the first time I'd even considered renting my home. Jeremy and Paul walked me step-by-step through what I could expect and guided me through the process from pricing to preparation to selecting from multiple applicants. I know I'm not their only listing, but they made me feel as if their only task at hand was getting the right people into my property. Move-in date is soon and I expect the level of service and care will remain high for me and my tenants throughout the lease. Pros: Patient and personable more

Be ware of Paul Linn 7/2/2010

First experience with Paul Linn @ T&H Reality wasn't great! To start, (PAUL LINN) stated that he would have someone come over and clean BEFORE I MOVED IN....... LIE 1!The inside of the stove was herrendous, the outside of the stove & the drip pans under the burners, behind the stove, & the air ducts were filthy. I will post pictures soon. On top of that I didn't received the keys until the afternoon of move in. He clearly states one thing and means another. Exp: "" I can't turn over the keys unless you provide the deposit""...did that and still no keys!(lie 2) I called the Friday before the first of the month and still no keys. Paul Linn also stated that we would do and inspection together before move in (lie 3). He waited until the day of move in and did the inspection himself(WITHOUT ME) I have witnesses! Even at that time he notified me that the dishwasher didn't work and they would replace it. I haven't heard anything regarding this so I contacted the office & submitted the request for the dishwasher not working, refridgerator leaking, toilet upstairs constanly running water every where and no response since .6-20-2010. I have since followed up & still no response. I tried to tackle the infestation of spiders myself, but after 2 weeks it became unbearable. Then I read through my lease that...THEY WILL NOT FUMIGATE FOR INSECTS OR ETC. 1 WEEK AFTER THE LEASE HAS BEEN SIGNED! Although, i've had no problem So Far with the plumbing...THEY WILL NOT PAY TO UNCLOG DRAINS AFTER the first 30 DAYS OF THE LEASE! These are slumlords so please be ware before signing with the money hungry with no intent of keep up company. I will return with updates & pictures! If this is not resolved in 1 week or so I will contact BBB & seek further assistance in the matter! They are located right off 52nd College. Cons: The lease & money hunger more

GREAT SERVICE and SALES 3/14/2010

T & H Realty has just taken over our rental property after a previously bad experience w/another management company. Pros: Honest, Helpful, Great Communication more

Extremely helpful 8/21/2009

The team at T&H Realty was extremely helpful with my home I was renting out to a very difficult family. I was renting it out on my own for a few months, but after a few very late payments, lies, and other issues, I called T&H Realty for help. Having them in charge of my home and the tenants that lived there, was like having a ton of bricks being removed from my shoulders. The stress I had when renting to them was gone. T&H took care of everything from getting payments made on time, fixing ANY issues with the home in a timely manner, and ultimately helping me get the tenants out of my home. I couldn't have done it without them. I recommend this team to anyone and I will use them in the future if needed! Pros: communication, professionalism, and understanding of issues Cons: N/A more
