My family and I love the zoo. My daughter and wife love going there. We all have a fun family time together. The price is a little bit if your not going to buy a family pass. But the family pass makes it cheap. Just remember to bring your own lunch!

I am a 24 year old woman who has been to many children's museum in her life (having been a child not that long ago). This is the best! My grandparents live in Indy and took us there every time we came to visit them since I was 3. In fact, my husband and I recently visited without children and still had a great time! They do an excellent job of remembering the past while embracing the future. Some exhibits have never changed, while the technology and science areas keep expanding and improving. I have a picture of myself in the Indy Race Car at every age! It just keeps getting better, I can't wait to take my own children someday!
Pros: Fair pricing, food court inside, unique local exhibits

Great times is the largest arcade place I know of! It's fun for families. It's great for b day parties. And it has putt putt, go karts, water bumper boats, it's got a lot! If your looking to have a fun time at this 2 story arcade paradise, then you've found the right place. If your an older parent or grandparent, grab a seat a the food area and let the kids have fun!

Kiln Creations is one the many places where patrons can paint their own pottery and leave it to be fired in the kiln and pick it up about a week later to create a unique gift or personal item.
There are literally hundreds of items to choose from at Kiln Creations from coffee mugs to cake platters to wall decorations so everyone can find something that fits their interests and their budget.
There are also several special events every month including Girl's Night Out when customers are encouraged to bring food and drinks to enjoy while they paint their pieces.
All in all Kiln Creations is a fabulous experience for not a great deal of money.

I recently was a parent chaperone on a 3rd graders' trip here. We also went to the Children's Museum, and I liked the Eiteljorg much more. The kids went through the Children's Museum at a slow run and I felt they learned little, but here we had an excellent guide who explained the various Indian artifacts to us and really made them interesting. This is a true museum and you mainly look, not touch. I don't know that it would have been so meaningful to me on my own, but the tour guide really made it an excellent visit. I'd definitely go with a guided tour.

The Beef & Boards show is a fun night. They first cook up a small buffet for all ticketholders, then put on a great show. The food is of average quality, nothing superb, but the shows are very good. They are always well-known plays, they don't do experimental. Some of the seats do not have a very good view, but if you buy your tickets early enough, this shouldn't be a problem.

This bar is extremely small and crowded on a weekend night. We didn’t enjoy it very much because of this reason and because it got very smoky very quickly. It was difficult to get a beer because they were so busy and the staff wasn’t very good. They do have a rum bucket you can get which filled with all flavors of fruity rum and it’s really neat.

Expo Bowl is located on the south side of Indianapolis, with convenient access from Interstate 465. The facility is well kept and very clean. The employees are helpful. There is very little smoke smell; it is not a smoke free location, but the air cleaners seem to do a good job. The lanes are all close to the desk, so you won't have to walk very far.

Wow, the childrens museum is a great fun time for everyone! The 1st Thursday of every month is free for family fun! Who can't afford that, and they have a mcdonalds, pizza hut and some more food inside. The gift shop can be pricey, so make sure you have a buget to spend to remember your trip to the muesem.
