Terrible!!!!! 1/26/2011

I had a party of 30 for my birthday. It took them 2 hours to seat us. Then they tried to charge me $60 for my cake that I brought in. The manager RUSSELL CLEBERT is very rude and inconsiderate. We got there at 9:00 and didn't finish dinner until 1:15!!! Then they wouldn't allow us upstairs to party, which was the main reason I had my birthday dinner at Shout. We spent alot of money there that evening and were treated like crap. I even spoke to the manager and told him they gave me theee WORST experience of my LIFE and he acting as though he could care less... I felt like I was being pranked the service was SOOOO BAD and I will never spend another red cent in that establishment!! more

Discrimination 12/28/2009

On Dec 19, I was a member of a party of 18 dining at Shout for a military Christmas Dinner. Reservation for the evening were made well ahead of time for 7:00 pm. Once we arrived the tables were not ready and there was no one upstairs. We did not get seated for about 45 minutes. All the waiters appeared comatosed, walking zombies. There was one female named Regina who seemed to be the 'Queen Bee' of the staff and made comments to us such as, "You guys need to stay in one seat and don't move" or just being flagrantly rude. We had to request the wait staff to come out to take the remainder of our party's orders. There was no refreshing of glasses, only upon request. Once the food arrived, it was basically thrown on the table and not even asked if we needed anything else. The food was fair but for $30.00 I would have expected more than just a piece of meat!!!! Had I known I would have brought me some potatoes and bread along to complete the meal. We had to continue to request any type of service as the wait staff peered around the wall at us. They kept leaving the door opened to the outside even after we requested it be closed. We ordered desert and coffee and were given our checks at the same time. A few of us were still attempting to the devour the tasteless dessert/coffee. A few of us got up to go to the restroom and when we came back our places were cleared. The 'Queen Bee' ordered one of the zombies to come out and tell us to leave so that a party of four could be seated. We were asked to move to another table. This caused an issue since the tables were being moved before we could even get up from the seats. Regina then became very disrespectful to one of our party members in a confrontational manner and continued to antogonize her as if she was attempting to provoke her. When asked for a manager we were told that there were 5 working but didnt have time for us. We eventually got Sunni but she immediately sided with the staff saying that this was the best of the best. Mark was no help either. more

Crappy Customer Service + Wrong Food Orders= Shout Runing My Senior Prom 4/19/2009

Ok so I went to shout yesterday for my Senior Prom with a party of 40 people. We made these dinner reservations for a party of this size a month and a half ago. We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before our reservations and they had us standing at the entrance for 30 minutes just to tell us that they didn't have enough tables to accommodate a group this large, so they divided us up into groups. The first group was seated but it took 45 minutes to an hour for the last group to be seated, in the back of the restaurant. So that last group, that I was apart of, ended up waiting for our water, our waiter to take our orders, and our food. It took so long that the first group was able to have tapas, entrees, and dessert. The last group ended up having the food to go. And on top of that we still had to pay a 20% gratuity. What the hell? They did not deserve a tip at all. But the waiter who was waiting on the tables was extremely rude. My friend went and told him that he's attitude was unacceptable and he was said "I wasn't rude. I wasn't trying to be. Tell me who's the person that wants to bitch and complain." My friend went off. He totally insulted my friend. And then the manager came and the waiter was like "I'm sorry if you guys thought I was being rude. It wasn't intentional. I'm sorry if you felt that way. Now I hope you guys have a good time at your prom. Thank you for coming to Shout." I was not taking the bullshit. The party bus had already arrived to pick us up and my table had their food, but the last table didn't. After the waiter problem, they ended up getting their food 10 minutes afterward, and we ended up eating on the bus. Tell me why those guys messed up my order. I ordered a super crunchy roll and got regular sushi. Its only sushi but fried. I ended up getting to prom at 9:30 and my prom ends at 11. I was highly upset. They ruined my senior prom, and I'm never going there again. They were an inconvenience to me and their food was disgusting. I'm completely disgusted with that restaurant. more

shout 3/28/2006

a mix of everything in this place. there is music pumping and a small dance club bar upstairs, and downstairs they have a great resturant. the food is a bit overpriced compaired to some other places in Atlanta, but you are paying for the location in midtown. parking is easy, or you can valet. just be careful. i asked for my drinks strong and when i got the bill they charged me for doubles. a good place to start the night and go out for more after. more

Something to Really Shout About! 8/6/2005

Shout has some tasty treats and great views. I was upstairs for a private party and loved the atmosphere, it was half indoor half outdoor with private seating areas and open spaces for dancing. The food came in small portions, but tasted delicious. I really liked the friendly wait staff and would recommend the restaurant for the ambiance, the prices are decent and the locations is wonderful. more

Great place for sushi and mingeling 8/5/2005

If you love sushi and love to socialize Shout in colony square is the place for you. The resturant has one of the best sushi chefs in town in addition to many other amazing items on the menu. They offer half price bottles of wine on monday night and are always packed on the weekend. Because they are right down the street from all the midtown bars and clubs it's a great place to go and have dinner right before going out. We went there for a friend's bachelorette party and they gave us a complementary bottle of champagne for the table. They also have a very nice private area to host a party on the roof pation which includes several private cabanas that may be rented out on friday and saturday night. The restaurant combines serveral different cousines to suit the public. Great place to meet friends and have great food. more

A Great Restaurant smack in the middle of Downtown Atlanta 6/16/2005

Located in the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Atlanta, this is the place for the after work/happy hour crowd to party and mingle. Call ahead and make reservations and be forewarned: after 8pm there is a cover charge of $10 on Fridays. Try to get a table on the roof, the view (and the sushi) is to die for! Great for you and a group of your friends to start the night off with a bang! more
