Very pleasant employees that use quality products. However, took 3 trips to get the correct water heater that I paid for. Yearly service agreement OK - if you routinely call a plumber ( I dropped them after 1 year). more

So the recent visit Scott Hale Plumbing & Heating basically checked out our AC units and made sure everything was working properly and let us know what what was wrong with it or if we could do anything to keep up on it between services. It was a pretty quick visit, they performed the work we wanted and it was easy and they seemed very thorough. I would recommend them. more

I had my furnace tuned up by two companies yesterday. The first was Scott hale who properly diagnosed that my furnace was too dangerous to operate. They gave me a quote for a new system which was a joke. I think their new furnace had a 3 year warranty. Are you joking me? 2 year on parts. Again. Are you joking me. Then he left. The second company who came also said the furnace was too dangerous to operate. And they shut off the gas line to the furnace. Good move company number 2. What was Scott hale doing leaving a dangerous furnace operatable. Probably just a new guy. First day on the job. more

I called Sunday because my pipes had backed up. & there was water in the basement. We considered having the service done Sunday, but due to an additional $149.00 fee for after hours. Fair enough. They scheduled someone to come out first thing Monday morning-between 8 & 10, so my husband made arrangements with his work to be there. He finally left the house for work around noon and someone finally showed up near 2:00 pm. The person communicated with my step daughter who wasn't able to reach her father via phone, so she called me. The technician told me my pipes were backed up and I asked him to auger from the clean out in the front yard. His response was "I could try it, but if my auger breaks, you're paying to replace it". Straight RUDE. I have had technicians auger my pipes several times. The last time we used you and our experience was great. This was a completely opposite experience. The technician told me auguring wasn't an option and he would need to water jet the pipes. He then called back and indicated there was a separation in the pipe at the city hook up and we neede to replace the pipes quickly or be facing a huge disaster bill. He quoted $6500.00 for replacement and told me he'd bring cameras and meet me in the morning at my house where he would show me the damage and apply for financing. So I scheduled time off - for me that's an entire day as I work more than an hour out 1 way. He arrived at my house with forms in hand, no camera, no equipment, no offer to show me the problem. He was terse and rude and then modified what he had quoted me the day before from $6500 to $12,000.00, saying he had only estimated the cost from the clean out to the city, &!if we were going to have that done we needed to do the clean out to the house and he hadn't included that in the estimate he gave me over the phone. Luckily, our credit application was declined, at which point the technician hastened out of the house with no further suggestions or a wish for luck. My teenage kids who were home and interacted with the technician indicated they were uncomfortable with him because he was rude and pushy with them. Overall, an unpleasant experience (backed up pipes) became a really bad experience that we do not intend to repeat. Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback. more

The service is great. The only issue i have is my water heater flush was scheduled and rescheduled 3 times because of emergencies. Was promised a $25 gift card to cheesecake factory but never received it. more

I have been a customer since I bought my condo about 8 years ago. Until this last round of service,, I have felt like I got good service, though somewhat expensive. This time I felt ripped off. First, I needed one toilet replaced; the men brought two. I did not approve its being installed an they took it away. Then, they replaced the shower head in the guest bathroom with a very elaborate new head. I saw this some model on sale; I am sure I paid much more for mine than this sale price. AND I had the shower head in the master bath replaced about a year ago. Included in the replacement was a new plate where the lever which had closed the tub for a bath was located, and the opening over the drain was also changed. Naturally, I expected the same replacement with the new shower head. It didn't happen. I was encouraged to put a water filter on my hot water tank. The filter would not fit the available area. Then the plumber noted that I could simply have you flush the tank once a year, for no additional charge. This seems like I was being sold piece of equipment that I didn't need. Yes, I did call about the drain plate and was told the plumber would call me. That was about three weeks ago. I am still waiting. more
