Cut to the chase... 2/2/2011

Megan is the best! I try to schedule my appointment at the end of the day to help unwind and relax. Both the Decatur and Candler Park locations help me do exactly that! The music, the atmosphere, everything is perfect. And especially Meghan. She takes care of me and makes great suggestions about styles and products for me. She's quick and conversational and we always have a few laughs. She's a great person to hang with for the 30 minutes it takes to keep me looking like me! Ask for her and you'll be sure to enjoy the experience!!! more

ASK FOR ERIN! After years of struggling to find someone who knew how to cut curly hair and could translate my vague ideas/suggestions of what I wanted into what I actually liked, I finally hit the jackpot. Erin Sillesky gave me fantastic cut that I kept hearing compliments on for weeks! Erin instantly made me feel like I had known her for years and made my visit to Salon Red extremely relaxing. She clearly has a passion for hair and being in her mid-twenties she seems very current on the latest styles but still able to accommodate any request. I’ve been to her several times now all with great results. I recommended her to my family and a couple of friends who also love her and will go to no one else anymore! more

I've been seeing Kelley at Salon Red Decatur for several months now, and I've been very satisfied. Kelley is very personable and spends a lot of time making sure she understands exactly what I'm looking for. She has done a great job with my curly hair - I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a new stylist. The salon as a whole is very friendly and has a great location; the online booking system is also very convenient. more

John Robert made me look better than Natalie Portman! 12/29/2010

Yesterday, I saw John Robert for color. It was my first time at Salon Red in Decatur. What a lovely experience! As soon as John Robert greeted me, I felt comfortable. He's one of those people who light up a room. He's very handsome and stylish but also warm and friendly. Anyway, I felt like he just got me after only a few minutes of talking and I was so happy with the color he did for me. I showed him a pic of Natalie Portman and we talked about her hair and compared her shades and skin tone with mine. His consultation was very thorough and I am just so excited with the results. Not to sound conceited, but after I compared my finished hair to the Natalie Portman photo, I feel that I look better. Here I come, Black Swan 2! more
