I first went to Salon Red about 10 wks ago (thanks Scoutmob!). I've been spoiled over the years from having personal friends that are stylists and/or doing the punk thing and clipping my own hair. It's consequently difficult for me to find salons and stylists that I appreciate and trust and where I feel comfortable spending my time and money. First off, I was very suddenly inspired by a certain style and the salon was able to get me a same day appointment. They were very friendly and helpful over the phone. When I arrived for my appointment they made me feel very comfortable while waiting. Then... there's Meghan. She is awesome! She listened intently and had great feedback for what I wanted and repeated everything back to me to ensure we were both on the same page. She made sure that I was getting something that I both loved and could maintain. Bonus: I didn't even have an awkward grow-out period in the last few weeks. (Excepting about a week and a half that I should have gone back in for my free bang touch-up, but that's my own procrastinating fault :p) It's really been a great style. I'm scheduled to go back in tomorrow and cannot wait!!! ^_^ more
