This was my first time to buy new furniture, so I took my time and did some research before deciding on Rooms to Go. They were having a great 'deal' of 3 years, No Interest and honestly, if it weren't for that, I would have backed out of my order weeks ago. My salesperson seemed very blase about the entire purchase I was about to make, which was a big deal for me considering the amount of money I was committing to pay. At the time of purchase, I explained in detail of my ""out of the ordinary"" drive-way (steep and bumpy) and was reassured it would not be an issue for the delivery people. Well, let me assure YOU that it was a very big deal. The initial delivery date was canceled once the semi truck saw the road ahead. So we decided on another date, and that alone took 5 days! And that was after being hung up on by RTG customer service! When they called to confirm the reschedule, she gave me absolutely no chance of asking questions, simply asked me if it was accurate, then quickly hung up. Never heard from my salesperson again (he made his sale, so what did he care). And the delivery company officially refused to deliver up my drive-way, even though UPS, Signature Furniture and FED EX have made and continue to make deliveries up there. They finally offered to give me my delivery fee back, which I still haven't received. AND, my landlord had to meet them down the drive-way and load his own van b/c they never made arrangements themselves to personally get my furniture to my door. This was always my problem, b/c I so dared to have a non-paved, out of the ordinary drive-way. So while the furniture is nice (make sure if you do go with them, to check it for scrathces, etc before they leave!) the delivery and customer service people are rude, careless and lazy! Please keep that in mind.
