Rocco's Hair Design

I got my gel full set done at Rocco's at Horton Plaza about a week ago.. I'm new in the area and I guess I took the easy way out by going there since it was just around the corner from where I live. I should have done a little research and looked at reviews. Anyways, there were 2 Vietnamese ladies at the salon when I got there. The lady attending to me was horribly rude.. asked for my ethnicity (probably thought I was a fellow Vietnamese, I'm not) and when I answered her it must have displeased her because her attitude sucked from then on. I heard her co-worker asked her ""Vietnam?"" and she was like.. ""hmmmph."" So, maybe they thought I was Vietnamese and was denying my heritage? She used a gigantic brush to put the acrylic on and even with that there were spots that she missed. I tried pointing out to her and she mumbled something that sounded like, ""I no finish, you don't say nothing(?)"" I was like... WTF?! Did this lady just tell me to shut up? Anyways, she shaped the nails wrong, the gel did not cover the whole nail... and now, a week later, all the nails are lifting. I can't run my hand through my hair without strands of hairs getting stuck in my nail!! This has never happened before a week after I got my nails done. This place is sh*t.. I'm never going there again and neither should you!! Cons: rude unprofessional nail ladies more

So I went to Roccos to get my nails done because I had gotten my hair done there before and it was great! I gave the lady the color i wanted and told her i also wanted white tips. It's almost christmas so I wanted red and white nails....so she starts painting on the white tips and I asked her ""what about the red?"" she said ""oh no worry no worry"" so I sat back and relaxed. When the white tips were done, she started to paint on the translucent pinkish color. I thought, since she told me not to worry that this was part of the progression to my red and white tipped nails. She put a dryer in front of me. I gave her a ""what the hell?"" look and she smiled and told me to just wait. As my nails were drying, she took her purse, got up, and left! So after my nails were dry I asked the lady at the next table if she could finish my nails and put the red on. She looked at me and said "" I fix?"" I said, "" well the girl left without finishing"". She looks at my nails and says "" 10 dolla, i fix."" I was like no way! I already paid the other one! At this time, I was already late and did not feel like arguing. I got up and left. She says "" you come back soon"". UM, NO! more

My regular nail lady was out of town and I needed a fill terribly! Rocco's is across the street from my office so after work a girlfriend of mine and I ran over to get our nails done. She got a full set and I attempted to get a fill. Regular pink and white, nothing special. I asked the woman to cut my nails down nice and short and she began to sand and prep my nails for the fill... Finally cutting them down! When she got out the brush to put the acrilic on I should have run for the door. It was HUGE. I thought to myself.. ""ok lady, are you painting a house or doing my nails?"" Moving on... She used so much liquid that the acrilic literally dripped off the brush and found its way under my nails. This went on for what seemed like an eternity. I asked her to clear out the dried acrilic from under my nails and she attempted this with a duge sander. essentially sanding the skin from under my nails. I eventually told her that I was DONE. I got up after nearly 2 hours, my fingers bleeding vowing once again to ONLY go to my regular nail lady. She speaks english, uses a small brush, never cuts me and I always leave her looking flawless!! Pros: Location Cons: The nail people have NO CLUE what they are doing more
