I appreciate the quality of merchandise and the customer service at this store. I especially appreciate their return policy. My husband is a runner and I often shop here for gifts for him because I know he can return things without a hassle, for ANY reason. I also love the money-back features of the membership. We recently bought our kids bikes here and the service was excellent. I felt more peace of mind too, knowing I could return the bikes if they just didn't work out. more

What's up with the membership 4/6/2006

I remember shopping at REI before the membership business went into effect. Sure they have a huge selection and you can find practically any item that you would ever need to any outdoor activity but what's up with the membership thing. I do not really like their concept and the fact that I'd have to pay membership dues or pay higher prices is goofy to me. more

Everything you need for the outdoors! 7/19/2005

The store is very open & has a wonderful selection of the things you will need for an outdoor adventure. They have sleeping bags, hiking equipment, bicycles, jogging strollers, clothing, shoes & so much more! The staff is very helpful & will make sure you get the item that fits you best. The staff helps, but do not stand over you while you're trying to decide. more
