At Boise State you don't have to be rich to get an education. There are a fairly good variety of classes, from "Mormons in the Media" to "Masculinities." As with many schools, most of the professors lean towards the liberal side, which is nice for people raised in this extremely conservative state. The only negative thing about BSU is that I wish it had a tri-mester system rather than a semester system, as it is nearly impossible to both work and finish your degree in four years.

More
My children have gone to Cole Valley Christian School for the last two years. The class sizes are small and each child gets individual attention. The teachers absolutely LOVE each and every child as their own and are committed to providing them with a great Christian education.
The school is K-12. The elementary school on Ustick Road is home to K-6th. The Junior High/High School is located in Downtown Meridian on Carlton Road. Both facilities are very adequate and have an incredible computer lab for the children, courtesy of Hewlett Packard.
Tuition is of course a sacrifice; however, it is very reasonable compared to other private schools in major metropolitan areas. Your children will get a great, loving, education for caring, Christian teachers here. The students are very nice as well! You won't be disappointed in your child's education here.

If you have always wanted to learn to dance, paint, or any new hobby than you need to check out Fort Boise. They offer lots of classes for adults and children. In the summer you can enroll the kids in some classes to get them out of your hair. They have great art programs that include painting and pottery. I think it is a great way to learn something new and they are pretty inexpensive too.

I signed up for some self defense classes. They sat me down and explained what they offered. They were very courteous and looking for my needs. They had many different payment arrangments to make and reasonably price. My classes went really well, I took 8 weeks total and I feel so much better physically and mentally. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to learn any martial arts.

More
As the only private parochial high school in the state of Idaho, Bishop Kelly strives to make their education program above the rest. As a small high school Bishop Kelly excels in their sports as well. With this powerful combination, Bishop Kelly attracts students from outer lying cities as well as many living in Boise. From the beginning of High school till the end, I attended Bishop Kelly. It was an amazing school for the educational purposes. After high school and attending college, I am thankful I went there, I was well prepared for that major transition.

First off, I probably spelled the title wrong, but it's a good school, just a little conflicted. Borah could definitely be considered the bottom of the barrel in Boise, but it has some great attributes. The math department is pretty amazing, as is the entire AP selection of classes. I'm not exactly sure what the numbers were like, but we rocked, and that's due mainly to great teachers. Athletics are great too. We've taken home quite a few titles in the past few years. There's just something missing. It's like the school is one step away from greatness. Anyway, if you have children attending, don't fret, they're in good hands, just keep pushing them, and let them experience the better side of Borah.

This is a program set up to help Childcare centers and childcare providers. I turn to them for anything I may need or questions I may have. They do a great job organizing all the craziness that comes with running a small in home business. They can refer clients to me, give me the numbers to places that can help me, set me up with my necessary inspections, and keep all my records there with them and keep them organized. They provide many classes and training on all sorts of childcare related themes. They have proven to be a very helpful tool. The STARS stands for State Training and registry System.

More
This is another mediocre Boise school. As with most schools, there are some stand out teachers that truly make class bearable, but the rest of the staff is just alright. Same with the facilities, very basic, outdated technology, definitely low budget stuff for the most part. I'm not saying West is bad, but I am saying it's not the best school in the treasure valley.
