I can't believe I'm the first to review this store! They have all the cool educational toys and the fancy schmancy brand name wonderful things. I can spend way too much time there shopping by myself. With kids we really need one parent to shop and one parent to supervise the kids. I really liked when the store was over by Town Square Mall. We'd go there all the time. Now we have to make a special effort to go to their new location and we don't go as often. If you do go, be sure to get on their mailing list so you get the coupons before Christmas. We always look for those and do some serious Christmas shopping when they arrive.

then the BAM is the place for you! Some of the exhibits are very interesting and thought provoking but some of the exhibits are rather strange and thought provoking. I recently took my kids and they enjoyed most of the museum although we made the guards very nervous! The admission price is fairly inexpensive and BSU students get in for free!

This is a great store, I have done most of my christmas shopping here. Everything from models, radio controlled vehicles, role playing equipment, modeling paints, and much much more. They have a very friendly staff and offer a deal that eveytime you go in and make a purchase you get your card punched then after 10 times they subtract $10.00 off your next total.

George's Cycles & Fitness carries bicycles and the equipment cyclists of all levels need. They carry apparel and bike parts and accessories.
They also have a bike repair shop that can fix bicycles, but also provide maintenance and tuneups to keep the cycles in really great shape.
The staff is really helpful and willing to order items they don't have in stock. It's one of the best bike shops in Boise.

I appreciate the quality of merchandise and the customer service at this store. I especially appreciate their return policy. My husband is a runner and I often shop here for gifts for him because I know he can return things without a hassle, for ANY reason. I also love the money-back features of the membership. We recently bought our kids bikes here and the service was excellent. I felt more peace of mind too, knowing I could return the bikes if they just didn't work out.

The people at World Cycle are so nice. They are very helpful. The store is small and doesn't have a huge selection. They make up for it in customer service. They have a great repair shop. If you can't afford a bike here at least use them to fix your bike. They do good work. They also are the shop that does bike check ups for local races.

Every year I bring my families skis in for their yearly maintenance to McU Sports. They have convient hours, a staff with a great deal of knowledge in winter sports, and top notch ski repair shop. Comparing to other shops in the area they give the best service for the best price in my opinion.

We have really enjoyed bowling in the past but it is really crummy when you leave and you reek like an ash tray. Behold....Lake Hazel Lanes. This is the first smoke free bowling alley I have ever seen and it is wonderful! It is a bit of a drive (Lake Hazel & Five Mile) but to know that you actually enjoy some activity with your family and not expsose them to second hand smoke is fabulous!

The Western Idaho Fair comes to town every August. The fair has rides, food, and games. You can also see traditional fair things; animals, crafts, and cooking contests. If you like rides and food the fair is your thing. I think it is expensive. It cost quite a bit of money to take your family to the fair. But it is only once a year so I think it is worth it. They have kiddie rides for the little ones and big scary ones for the adults.
