These are the most honest & trustworthy guys in the car repair business.
A woman going to a mechanic is often an opportunity for a shop to fast talk us into spending more than we should. I've been taking my cars to Hurless Brothers for over twenty years and have never been treated with anything but respect. It's the little things; like not billing extra for on the spot fixes and always vacuming my car and washing the windows that bring me back again and again.
The care and attention my cars recieve and the savings over the dealer's pricing makes them the only choice for me.

I highly recommend getting your oil changed here. As the advertise, "home of the $13.95 oil change." Thats the best price around that I can find. The staff here was very friendly, and waiting room was reasonably clean and maintained. I haven't used them for anything else, however. I go to Boise often enough that I can work into my schedule to go here. We all need to save money wherever we can!

This is Boise's newest, and fanciest car wash. It has an awesome downtown location just off of the connector (I can't wait for the Eagle road location to open). The car wash accepts credit/debit cards and is super easy to use. You stay in your car and go through the wash in no time flat. Most Boise car washes are single bays and are so slow! After, you get complimentary use of the vacuums which are really powerful. There are also hoses on each side which make it so easy to clean the inside of your car without snaking hoses through it. The basic wash is just $5 and includes the vacuums. Worth it!

We found after many years of Peterson servicing our Toyota that they are reliable and fairly honest. Tom Scott Toyota however, is significantly cheaper on many repairs - such as brakes, interior electronics, etc. Peterson will price match if you ask them. We also had an incident once where the service rep said the h2o pump failed and she seemed very disappointed that we had an extended Toyota warranty - even argued with me over whether it was covered. (Toyota reimburses them lower labor rates under warranty repairs)

Carl’s has a beautiful showroom and a large variety of motorcycles and ATVs. The also sell accessories and clothing. Some of the salespeople are very nice, but often you go to the store and can’t find anyone free to help you. It can be frustrating. The have a huge selection of used vehicles. We have also traded motorcycles in at Carl’s and feel like we got a good deal.

This car wash is actually pretty convenient for me, but to get a good wash, it is slow. I also have to get out of my car and walk down a seemingly endless hallway, and then usually wait some more. Not my kind of carwash honestly. They do have a quickie, drive through type of wash that you can go through and stay in your car for but it isn' t that great. I have gotten my oil changed here as well, and that too was very time consuming.

I recently purchased my first car from Saturn. This was the first car I had purchased from a dealership. I have always been intimidated by dealerships - thinking they are sleezy and very pushy. But after going to Saturn I was so impresed by the staff, and the selection of clean cars Saturn had to offer!! I will definetly recommend anybody to go there when looking for a car! The sales staff is clean cut, easy to deal with and they really do want you to be happy with your purchase. They gave me above KBB for my trade-in, and were more than happy to go on multiple test-drives with me.

Mister Car Wash is a great soft cloth car wash! They have different washes you can choose, but I like the Express Wash since you can just stay in your car while they wash it. For only $4, you can get your car washed & they even towel it dry for you when you're done! They also have free vacuums you can use or you can pay to have them detail the car while you wait. They also have a card for Unlimited Express Washes in a month for a fair price. If you're planning on getting your car washed a lot, this would be a great investment!
