Pulcinella's Restaurant

Pulcinella's is OK at best. The entrees are pretty bland and run-of-the-mill. You have your requisite spaghetti, manicotti, lasagna, chicken and veal parmesan, which are alright, but just about anyone could make those just as well at home--it's not worth the money or the trip out for any of those. The more "creative" dishes--the specials, which change daily, I believe--are hit or miss. I've eaten there a number of times only because it's very convenient to my home--and the only thing I've really been pleased with was the pizza, especially the white pizza, which they serve with a choice of either broccoli or zucchini on top. We chose zucchini, which was really pretty good. Randy's pizza, just across the street from Pulcinella's is better, though, so if you're going for pizza, make the trip across Hope Valley. And if you want pasta, you may just want to stay home. more

Pulcinella's is one of my favorite restaurants in the triangle. Not only is their Italian food absolutely delicious, but the casual, friendly atmosphere is so inviting, you just want to stay all night, talking with friends and drinking wine. They offer a wide variety of traditional favorites as well as other inspired dishes. Everything I've had there has just knocked my socks off! The staff is so friendly, every trip to Pulcinella's is a treat. more

The food at Pulcinella's is good. They always offer coupons in the mail, which is nice as well. They have outdoor seating, but it's along a strip mall so the ambience isn't really all that great. Overall, it's an okay place to go. more
