The seamstress is efficient and professional, and in this recession, the price is very reasonable. The first time that I had ever used this place, I was in a rush and I needed my dress and a pantsuit to be altered. Even though I was flustered, the seamstress was calm and tried her best to understand me. Within a few days, the dress and suit was finished and the outcome was more than I could ever ask for. The service was just great and I was truly surprised. I have used this place for alterations numerous times since then, and I have never had any problems. I have recommended this place to all of my friends as well. more

I went in get an evening gown altered and the lady was very friendly. The price was reasonable unlike the place inside the department store. The place is small, but she did a very good job. I definitely plan on going back there to get some more things done! more

Professional is the wrong word to describe this seamstress! My entire experience with her altering my bridesmaid dress was terrible! Initially, I chose her because of the reasonable estimate she gave me. $63 later, the dress was in much worse shape than it originally had been. After the first time of altering it, it was still entirely too big. Naturally, she would finish her job, and take it in more. Not that easy, I had to put up a fight, as she pinched the excess skin on my armpits, for her to fix it! After 5 long minutes of going back and forth, she accepted the job with a scowl. Three days later I went in to pick it up. It fit worse than the first time. I couldn't breath due to the midsection being too tight, if I would have raised my arms the dress would have slipped off, and the padded cups that were inserted were not sewed into place allowing them to slip to my armpits, not to mention they made my chest look lumpy. I took my wife's leather coat for a new zipper. This shop was anywhere from 25% - 50% less than other shops I called. The quality of her work was excellent. Pros: Ser vice, Price, Quality Cons: none more

I have had 2 bridesmaid dresses altered here and many pairs of pants. She is extremely reasonably priced and does an excellent job. It's not a fancy shop, a little small really but it gets the job done. I've recommended to her to many friends who have taken their formal gowns there as well. We haven't had any problems yet. This business used to be only a few blocks from house but now is a about 10 miles. I still drive the extra mileage for the peace of mind of her quality work. more
