Pop's, not Papa's 9/30/2005

It took me awhile to keep these two straight. Papa's is Greek (I wrote a review) and Pop's is more American. Pop's is very fancy in the evening, not really a great place for kids. It is contemporary and delicious. It is located in Brightleaf Sqaure in Durham so you can make a really nice evening out of going to dinner at Pop's, and then strolling around the newly rennovated Brightleaf. Especially lovely in the fall. more

good food and atmosphere 8/18/2005

pop's does mostly italian/mediterranean food, and they do it rather well. entrees are 10-25 bucks each. i had a seafood and pasta dish that was quite tasty, and the people i ate with all seemed to enjoy their meals. the bar was adequate, and the service staff was good. i would definitely eat there again. more
