Had such a great time 7/26/2010

I was relieved to have such a friendly instructor. He was totally supportive of my fears and made sure I didn't give up. He also shared my excitement when I caught my first waves. I took a lesson by myself and I was nervous going into it. Mark made me feel at ease and walked me through what to expect and what to do before we got in the water. It wasn't a hot day, so I was expecting to freeze, but I had the option of using a full wetsuit and I stayed warm the whole time. I totally had a blast and want to do it again. I highly recommend taking lessons here. more

They screwed up and wouldn't refund my money 10/22/2009

We booked a semi-private lesson. They didn't get enough guides, so they put us with another group. Because we had a 6 year old (that ended up on the beach by himself), we wanted to reschedule. They wouldn't let us, but offered to refund the difference in semi-private and group (20.00). We did the lesson. The guy was 15 minutes late, ended 15 minutes early. Left my son on the beach by himself. Luckily I was close by and could see what was happening. Still won't refund $20.00, and they are fighting a $20.00 chargeback. So frustrating. Pros: We got to surf Cons: Price more

Best surf school in San Diego 4/16/2009

Pacific Beach Surf School is the best in San Diego. Take it from me i am a San Diego local! Every summer i send friends and family to this surf school only to hear of their enjoyment and surfing accomplishments. A long standing surf school here in mission beach, the crew at pacific surf school has great knowledge of the ocean and surrounding area. When visiting San Diego make sure you dont miss out on the opportunity to surf, and if your going to surf, got to Pacific Surf School in Mission Beach. Pros: Knowledable instructors on surfing and water safety Cons: not enough sun light more
