Worth a look if you drive by 12/28/2005

This place is your typical junky-looking secondhand bookstore. Since it's only blocks away from 9th Street, why not go to Regulator bookstore instead. Well, occasionally you will find a good buy, but the last time I was here, there were books strewn all over the floor. The place is dimly lit, crowded, and dirty-looking. Most books are OLD. Ok if you like old books and are a treasure hunter. more

A great place for used books 9/30/2005

I think there are actually more used bookstores than new ones in Durham and this is a great one. They moved around over the years, but have consistently had a good selection at great prices. The store is fairly big so you need to take some time to really look through the selection and get the great finds! more
