What a great place! From my first visit 3 years ago, I have always found everyone very friendly and welcoming. Stacey Digre cuts my hair. I go to nobody else. I know everyone else there is good, but Stacey got it right for me the first time, and every time after that. I recommend her to anyone who wants a great job and friendly service. She is the best. more

I have been seeing Brian Bennett here for many years. He does my wife's hair as well. Can't imagine a higher compliment than to mention that Brian was invited to our home to do our daughter's hair on her wedding day. Brian is not only very skilled with hair, he is also a very good conversationalist and a gracious host. I always look forward to our visits as a consequence. The location is terrific, in Montclair. Ample street parking and the salon validates your ticket if you park in the adjacent public parking lot. \r \r Sarah, the owner and receptionist, is also terrific. Like Brian, she also makes me feel welcome. \r \r Ten thumbs up (I'm all thumbs), or actually twelve (or more) if you count my wife's. more

I'd probably rather get a facial from Nicole than just about anything else in this world. She is soothing, thorough and present. She uses Pamonia products, which are just about the only that can penetrate this old dehydrated skin of mine. Her neck and hand massage seemed to go on for a really good long time. \r \r I am totally sold on her and would recommend her strongly. more

New Waxing Gal 11/29/2007

I've just been back to Natural Expressions and was happy to see they have a new Waxing and facials gal Theresa. She is awesome and guess what she also does full body massage as well. I'm in heaven. My favorite place and they have massage again. Yesterday Sarah the owner just had the place re painted and it looks wonderful. I tell all my friends to go here because everyone is so nice and the place is so spacious not squeezed in like most salons. more

Absolutely loved my hair! 11/2/2007

Natural Expressions is great! i have to say its the friendliest staff at a salon i've ever been to. The place has great space!! the owner is very warm and greating!! i Tried the salon out when i was in a pinch and couldnt get to the city to where i normally go....i was a little nervous at first, but my stylist Kristen took the time to listen to what i wanted and needed. she's quite friendly and funny too! my highlights and cut came out great!! and the shampoo was fabulous and relaxing!!! needless to say...i no longer go all the way to the city! i deffinately recommend her! They also offer massage,facials, and waxing!! more

Avoid Amy for waxing, she's really not good... 5/23/2007

I had read a few things from some people about Amy Hill Romano at this place from a site discussing waxing... they were wrong. A friend and I decided to try her out because I was back in Piedmont for the week and neither of us had had time to see our aesthetician who works between the Bay Area and LA, but she was in LA. Amy didn't seem to be well informed about skin care and seemed inept when it came to doing my friend's brows. Maybe we've been really lucky to have only found the best in skin care and brows because it was a shock to deal with someone who really didn't seem well educated. Our aesthetician is painless, not only for us but for people we've sent to her - not something that can be said for Amy. more

The place to be... 3/23/2006

Lhiza Llacer was reffered to me by my boss who always looks good and trendy. I always admired her hairstyles. Last week I decided to try Lhiza; She has given me the best haircut and color for a reasonable price. Plus, I've gotten compliments from my boyfriend and other people. She's a "Jack of all trades" other than cut and color she does hair straightening and extensions. I'm glad that I can go to her for everything! PROS: validates parking (across the street) CONS: Need to book ahead of time she has a lot of regulars. more

Love my Hair... 11/26/2005

I had the best experience! Lhiza had cut and colored my hair just the way I wanted it, modern and sophisticated. She took her time consulting (we looked at pictures) and explained details. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The best part is that i am getting lots of compliments. Pros: VALIDATES PARKING more

Staff is wonderful...but 10/13/2005

I wanted to like this place sooo much!!! But the skill level of the stylist i had was below par...within two weeks as my hair grew out it looked terrible, nothing I did helped it. Massive amounts of hair product could not help the look. Six months later, after having my 'do restyled with a seasoned hair stylist, two cuts later, we are still working on the unfortunate hair cut i received here. Sadly, not recommended. Cons: below par skill level more

great place for a brazilian! 6/8/2005

Amy Romano is great when it comes to waxing! I haven't tried her other services, but her waxing is fairly pain-free (as waxing goes). I've had some horribly painful brazilian waxing experiences and Amy is great!\r \r My husband has hard hair to cut and if someone doesn't know what they're doing, he ends up looking like a Q-Tip. He originally did a walk-in appointment and left with a great cut. Needless to say, he's become a loyal customer of Lhiza Llacer.\r \r I was driving into City for my cut and color, but decided to switch to a local salon. I tried a salon around the corner from Natural Expressions and left with an awful awful cut and color! \r \r I ended up calling Natural Expressions and got an appointment with Cynthia. she fixed the color and the cut. I continue to see Cynthia and receive lots of compliments on my hair. PROS: validated parking across the street CONS: more

Natural Expressions is an Aveda Salon, when I saw the Aveda sign in their window, I decided to give them a try. I called and asked for someone who was good with long straight hair. I was scheduled with Cynthia. Usually I just get a trim on my first visit with a new stylist. When I sat in the barber chair, something felt right and I let Cynthia take off about 6 inches. She did a great job and I received many compliments. She only charges $50 which is pretty reasonable for a great cut. I went back 10 weeks later and she worked her magic again. more
