Avis Car Rental

We recently stayed at the Monte Carlo. It was okay. Nothing special, nothing bad. The casino was quite large and I always seemed to get lost trying to find my way out (the goal, I know). The rooms were average. Amenities in the rooms were minimal--just shampoo, conditioner and soap. Right now (Dec. 2006), there is a huge construction project going on in the lots north of the Monte Carlo (between the Monte Carlo and Bellagio) and it's a rather unpleasant walk north. So, if you're planning spend a lot of time north of the area, stay somewhere else. If you plan to hang out south of the Monte Carlo (NYNY, MGM Grand, etc), then this hotel would be fine if you can get a deal. more

Compared to other over the top hotels and resorts in Las Vegas, the Monte Carlo doesn't really stand out as anything too special. It is very nicely decorated, and the entrances with the beautiful fountains are very nice. I just do not remember anything specific standing out that would make me want to return to this casino. The place was huge, over 90,000 square feet of gaming space, and there were some cool shops and restaurants, but overall this was not one of my favorites. If you are looking for the more subdued atmosphere you will probably enjoy this casino. Worth a stop, but nothing special, thats just my opinion! more

My husband and I got married here towards the end of 2004. It was really nice, and people still tell us that it was the best wedding ceremony that have ever been to! We also loved the fact that it was short - maybe 5 minutes or so. I definitely recommend them! more

Surprisingly kid friendly pool, THIN WALLS!! Had my renewal of vows ceremony in one of their banquet rooms, which turned out really nice. Service was good, price was fair and the ambiance was intimate and lovely. Next day we used the pool. Fantastic and really kid friendly! The food at the buffet is xlnt and the service and atmosphere is nice. We had two adjoining rooms on the third floor, every time someone flushed, showered or farted, we heard it! Our room was next door to a service station and at 3:00am they started doing dishes!! The machine was so loud that it shook the room! The front desk wanted US to move! At 3:00am!! They finally turned it off after we begged, only to turn it back on at 8:00am! They offered us a free breakfast, hey better than nothing...I won $2200 with a $10.00 bill on one of their slot machines, evens out. more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last year. It locates in the nice place. There is a free tram to Bellagio, and also you can use another free tram to Luxor and Mandarin Bay if you walk to Excalibur. The room is simple and clean. If you get a strip view room on the higher floor, the night view will be excellent. Most of big hotels on strip have a difficulty with finding your elevator after check in, but this hotel has quite easy way to go to the elevator hall from the front desk. You don’t have to across the casino to go to your room. more
