The Bellagio has several penthouses. I have stayed on the fountain side and on the other side. If you are there for a romantic stay, the fountain side is definitely a step in the right direction. Of course, the non-fountain views are breathtaking. So unless your love is beyond resuscitation, either will probably do nicely.
Check in has been a breeze. There is a private check in area that expedites things a great deal. One one occasion I had to wait a bit. I was offered food and drink to help pass the time (about 15 minutes).
The suites are massive with a full dining area, kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom and two full baths. One has a massive walk in shower and the other a beautifully large whirlpool tub. The accommodations in this bath put many salons to shame.
Service at the Bellagio has always been perfect. I called down to see if they had a bit of fresh ginger for tea to settle an upset stomach. Within minutes they had fetched some from the kitchen and had it in the suite with hot water for tea. A business acquaintance wanted a soda that was not in the suite. I called down and within five minutes it was delivered.
I suppose the way that I would summarize the experience at the Bellagio is "one with class". Not inexpensive, but definitely memorable.

I have stayed at Bellagio three times and had a great stay each time.Check-in is one of the few sour notes. Twice, I had to wait more than an hour for my room to be ready, which I found bothersome. The property itself is spectacular. The lake with fountain show in front is still terrific, even though I've seen it many times. The Dale Chihuli sculpture in the lobby, and the endless display of flowers in the conservatory are among the interior highlights. The array of restaurants is amazing. Picasso and Le Cirque are among the best fine dining restaurants that I've ever visited. The buffet is also the best in the city by far. The pool area is also excellent, although it seems in some respects to have been copied from Caesars. The guest rooms are well appointed and include private bars, and electronically controlled curtains and sheers. The casino is sprawling, and some may find the limits too high for their liking.Another point is that it seems like you have to walk miles to get from one place to another. For example, going from the main guest tower to the JPM patisserie takes forever. Service is generally very good for a hotel with 4,000 rooms. In spite of a few negatives, Bellagio is my 3rd favorite Las Vegas hotel behind Four Seasons and Wynn/Encore. Pros: Great rooms, superb restaurants, good service. Cons:Check-in is hit or miss, walking from place to place takes forever, even compared to other casino/hotels with 4,000 rooms.

Criss angel did this trick that literally blew me away when i was a little kid, the one where criss pulled some girl named alaina out of the crowd, covered her up with a sheet, and made her reappear in a box. plus criss levatated me at circus circus. you really have to see it to beleive it. what you see is what you get,
Pros: Carrot top, Sulley erna, criss angel, lance burton, beleive.

Great guest rooms but little bit hard to get around since it's so big and multiple elevators. If you stay in the VIP rooms, you get free snacks and drinks. Great views, service and new furniture. Tao the night club is in the hotel too along with the grand canel. The casino though is bit smokey. The new Plazo is actually lot better. Should check them out.

If you want vegas on a budget, then Circus Circus if for you. For a third less than many other Vegas casinos, you can still stay in style. Bright clean rooms, several on site casinos, restaurants, shopping and an indoor amusement park are but a few of the family friendly features of this budget casino. It may be on the more mature end of the strip but with shuttle service every few minutes, it remains a great value.

My family and I had so much fun here at Circus Circus. I had a great deal on their website where I got a $25 gas card which I'm sure a lot of people need these days. Cynthia at check in was really polite. Our room at Skyrise Towers was very nice. My son had so much fun at the pool. It was also great that the pool area had food and drinks to sell there as well. And of course if you do or you don't have kids, Adventuredome and the Midway are great places to go to have more fun. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with kids and/or on a budget.
Pros: Games, affordable, pool
Cons: looks old

Mandalay Bay did their job to make it so you really never needed to leave the hotel. First .. free valet service, no matter how many times you needed it. Lines got long sometimes, but they did their best to keep it moving. We visited comparable hotels and just really liked the entire atmosphere. Staff extremely helpful. Rooms nice and comfortable. We had a partial view of the strip and a view of the airport. Saw a great sunrise We happened to fall in love w/ the bed and shower. Nice variety of restaurants, shops, and clubs/lounges but you could save a ton if you grab yourself a TomTom and explore the city off the strip.
I had a haircut from their salon, from Tyler who did a great job, but these aren't Great Clip rates. Room rates were reasonable (for the average "joe") over the Thanksgiving holiday, and even decided to stay the 3rd night of our trip in Vegas instead of seeing the Grand Canyon.
The only complaint was the Pecan Crusted French Toast from the House of Blues in the hotel!

While hubby watched the Penn State Game that he bet on, I spent a few hours at the spa. A local woman in the sauna brought up Hugo's Cellar, and said we must try it. I needed someplace to dress up and go out in that new hot black dress I bought anyway.
Oh my gosh. It was Fantastic! It is located in the basement of the 4 Queens Hotel/Casino on Fremount St. You are greeted with a rose, and waiters in tuxes. It really looks like a cellar, dark, yet lit with candles. You are pampered, and treated with respect. Your salad is made at your table, then you receive a sherbert to clean the palate. :)
The food is wonderful too! It's about $30 a plate, but a must try. I can't wait to go back, on our Vegas trip this year.
