The Lied Discovery Children's Museum is a great place to take your children, whether for fun or for a birthday party. There are all types of different activities that they may participate in. There is a stage for the kids to dress up on, gigantic building blocks, large bubble maker, etc. There is a room where the kids can play in the sand, use playdoh, read books, etc. The upstairs is ideal for older children and adults.

Being my first trip to Las Vegas, I was a little apprehensive about staying off of the Strip. Boy was I wrong. The Silverton was great!
First off, the atmosphere of the place is astounding. The lodge feel is something you really can?t find on the Strip. The Casino itself is fairly large and has plenty of excellent gaming options. There is a gigantic Bass Pro Shop attached to the casino that would take literally all day to browse through.
Something else I found really entertaining was the Silverton?s aquarium. I very much enjoyed sipping on an ice-cold beer inside the Mermaid Lounge while watching all the fish and aquatic life swim about in the aquarium.
The room was immaculate. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and gave me an excellent chance to really rest up for a big day out and about.
Speaking of out and about, even though the Silverton is off Strip, it is not far at all. It is just right down the highway from Mandalay bay, so exploring the normal sights is only seconds away!
Lastly, the dining options are endless. I really enjoyed the Mexican place, Mi Casa. The atmosphere was very lively and menu out of this world. Following dinner, I enjoyed a few margaritas at the bar.
I would recommend the Silverton to anyone visiting Las Vegas. It really is a hidden gem in my book!

I went to a party that was held at this golf club, it was my first there and was very impressed. They have a huge parking lot and we were greeted by their the staff that made sure we were well taken care of. The bartender was friendly and upbeat and kept the drinks flowing.

Before you shop, go to Customer Service and join the frequent buyers club. Well worth the short time and you earn credits for future purchases each time you buy something. And, with their credit card, your first purchase at up $1,500, you get 10% off (which pays for the taxes). Overall staff was very nice and helpful. Will be going back for sure, even if just to wander around and window shop!

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas is a great place to take the family. As you walk through the museum, you will see many wax replicas of famous people. It is hard to tell that they are fake most of the time. This museum is located on the Las Vegas Strip, so very convienent to visit while visiting the strip.

This store is great. The staff there are really and truly helpful and know what theyre talking about. Theyre not going to talk you into buying something too pricy just because, but help you find exactly what you need. They got great sales there, which enabled me to buy a $200 brand new tennis racket for $97. They strung it for free too! What a deal.

I love to come here, maybe even more than my dogs. The trees and grass and wide open space and fresh air and benches, its a great escape for those of us who like that sort of thing. You can go practically anytime and there are many places to go when your there. There are 3 big fenced in runs which are huge. Then there is a separate fenced area for small dogs. There is also a long fenced area along the back of the other 3 areas for training or for dogs who would like to be alone. And if that's not enough, theres a huge grassy baseball field sized area where good dogs can run and play. It is by far the largest dog park I have ever visited. I hope we all take care of it so it can stay as nice as it is! Always a good idea to make sure your dogs are up to date on their vaccines in case someone else's aren't! Don't forget to bring your dogs good manners

Great Stay at the Hitching Post RV Park. The bath house is spotless. Good cable package. Wireless Internet access that works. Courtesy Computer in large laundry room. Heated pool open year round. Saloon and Steakhouse on premise with great food. Definitely the best place to RV in Las Vegas.
