Good customer service 1/9/2007

We scheduled service for the next day which was convenient. They came out with all their supplies, which was useful, since we had not and cleaned our home prior to move in. I gues we had a plummer out fixing one of the showers and so they did not clean that room. The plummer left prior to their departure, however they must have missed that room. Anyway we called back and Mission Maids came out the next day and cleaned the bathroom they had missed at no charge. They were very pleasant and professional, we are using them bi weekly. *** CAVEAT EMPTOR *** 12/11/2006

I called on Tuesday afternoon and requested new service for Thursday morning. The job was not able to go through, for non-related reasons, and I called to cancel service Wednesday morning at 9:00 am. I was not told of a cancellation fee, but quickly realized there was one when my credit card was charged $75 (probably more than the actual service would have been!). When I called to inquire, as surely this was an error (!) I was THEN told of the cancellation policy. So, because I cancelled 23 hours prior, as opposed to 24 hours, I was charged this fee. So much for good business! I had intended to use this company for several other projects, as we are a custom home builder, but now, perhaps not. Very Good Service 10/31/2006

Mission Maids came in and did a deep cleaning of my home. The price was reasonable and the service was good. However the next day, I noticed a very small bowl was missing. I called them back and spoke with a manager. He said, he would speak to the team and get back to me. The manager called back within 20 minutes, he stated the crew had not noticed the bowl. He offered to come out and help me look for it. The manager arrived later that day and while we were looking for the bowl, I saw it on the kitchen counter. I had put a green bottle of vitamins in the bowl, the bowl was also green so I never noticed it underneath. I must be getting old! How embarassing! I thanked the manager for quick response and attentivemness to my ""problem"", I was very impressed. We will be using them again. Pros: Good Deep cleaning, Responsive Management. Responding to Mission Maid's claims 10/30/2006

In response to Mission Maids response to my earlier review, first of all, my apartment DID not require ""alot of work"" as they say, but that is beside the issue. Secondly, I was never notified by phone of their cancellation policy fee. For a business to charge someone's credit card without even notifying that person of the charge is bad business in my opinion. All I want is my $75 refunded to me. When I notified Mission Maids that I was submitting a complaint to the government agency that defends consumers, I received no response from the manager. Cons: customer service more

Great for Construction Clean Up 10/17/2006

Our house was just completely remodeled and the contractor did a horrible job of cleaning up their mess. Our contractor ran long and we were scheduled to move in 2 days, so we were under a real time crunch. Mission maids was the only company that could come out with a large enough team the next day to get the job done in one day...our home is 8,000 square feet. Pros: Large crews, quick response more

Good Service 10/17/2006

They were a few minutes late, however they did call earlier that day to let me know me. The maids arrived in uniform and got straight to work. Our house was pretty messy and I must admit it has never looked cleaner. The maids were really good and I recommended them to my sister and she is going to use them next week. I like that fact the the maids spoke english and brought their gear. more

they were on time and at the predicted cost. The maids were efficient and friendly. They are cheaper than many full service compnaies like Merry Maids, the maids and Amaidzing. Nice people, cheap and honest 8/20/2006

They did a good job. I am on a budget and they allowed me to specify the amount of time for cleaning. Their min charge is less than most and they were very flexible. They did not finish everything, it was a pretty long list, but everything they did was done with care and cleaned well. I will use them next time. I asked the manager about the the review with the rate issue, the manager said they had a new girl answering the phones that day and she made a mistake forgetting weekend rates were a little higher, she called back when she realized the mistake and then the lady wrote that review.....go figure! Pros: Flexible, inexpensive, lower min charge Cons: i wish I could afford more! more

Very good and consistent 8/20/2006

We have tried numerous services over the last few months like Merry maids, Molly maids, Amaidzing etc. All were late to the appointment and cost more and didn't do as good a job. Mission maids were on time, did a thorough job and their rates were less than the competiton. The other thing I like is that Mission Maids ACTUALLY sends out the same team each trip, its not cleaner du jour like the others. This way I don;t have re train the new team each trip, plus the cleazning is consistent. At first I thought it would be great - I was told they could come by the following day. This was perfect, seeing as this would be a birthday gift for my wife. I thought the rate was a little expensive but since this would be a one-time thing I didn't think about it again. Pros: Decent cleaning. What a disappointment (possible scam) 8/10/2006

I called on a Friday morning and was given an immediate quote and booking for Saturday morning. At 7:30p.m. on Friday night (mere hours before my scheduled cleaning), I received a message at home (with no return number or name) informing me that they had given me the wrong ""weekend rate"" and that the service was to be $6 more per hour than quoted. After scrambling to find the number, I called to cancel. Any business that quotes a customer and then calls to charge more is not only ludicrous, but makes me leary regarding all business practices. Fortunately, I received the ""message"" before having their staff show up at my home and demand more than agreed upon. It's not the money, it's the principle. They lost not only a first time customer, but a bi-monthly customer had service gone as expected. I'm very disappointed and horrified that companies still chose to conduct business this way. What ever happened to treating the customer with respect and honoring a business commitment (quote)? Buyer beware. more

I used to use Merry Maids, but I was sick of different people showing up each week to clean my home. Mission Maids are cheaper, they always send out the same teams and I can change what I need done each trip. They girls work hard and do a good job. Wonderful Service 6/7/2006

The mission maids arrived on time, did a walk thru and got right down to work. Our house had not been professionally cleaned in a while and they did a great job. The maids got into all the corners and lifted everything up to clean. The best part about it was the price which was less than the original phone estimate.
