Had to write a review after recieving my valentine's day flowers. LOVED THEM!! I always tell my husband not to get me anything for valentines day, a card would do, but of course I want flowers. Just because you say you don't want anything means that you really want something. Luckily, he know me all to well and surprised me with a flower delivery. I guess my husband said to do a nice mix and they did not just do a nice mix, they did a amazing mix. vibrant colors, unusual flowers, - just wonderful. My new go-to florist. more

funky kind of european shop 3/15/2011

Pretty sweet place to shop for anything and everything. Went here on a recommendation from a co-worker to shop for a gift for my boyfriends mom. Well, hour or so later and like 200 bucks less in my wallet, I walked out of here with so much cool stuff. I guess I am one of those shoppers who likes to buy stuff for everyone, of course I need to welcome my new co-worker with a cool plant, right? Best way to describe this place is kind of a funky european flower/garden/gift shop that sells a very unique line of items. I will highly recommend this place for anything and everything. Of course I need a bunch of tulips in the middle of this crappy prespring chicago weather. I also bought a really nice/high end candle for my boyfriends mom. It was so hard to choose that I bought 2 scents and will decide later or maybe I'll just keep them both for myself. I will be back next time and anytime I need a quick gift, flowers for myself (hello boyfriend if you are reading this!) or something to spruce and liven up my apartment. oh, they also have 2 really cute store cats that sleep in their matching beds in the back. so adorable! more

I am now in love with red roses 2/23/2011

Never have been a huge fan of red roses until now. My bf surprised me with red roses for vday. I am thinkin to myself, red roses on valentines day, how original. right? Then I saw these and now understand how beautiful red roses really are. I received 2 dozen in a vase and it was breathtaking. What I totally loved about the flowers was all the other little things they put with the flowers were different. They had some cool greenish/yellowish thing in there with some hot pink small flowers that smelled awesome. lemon scent. Seems like this place is a little more nontraditional and definitely more up my alley. Can't wait to stop in and see for myself. The roses are still alive today, almost 12 days later. Not typically someone who reviews everything and anything I can criticize, but it's really nice to know that there are places out there who put places like ftd or 800 flowers to shame. thanks for keepin it real. more

Cool local place for gifts 10/22/2009

Great place for unusual gifts. When it comes to birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, I always wait to the last minute for that special gift. This place is pretty cool and a great place to go for the special someone who has everything and wants nothing. I am a big fan of giving organic live gifts like plants and flowers. Always find nice suculents here, modestly priced as well. This place won't break your bank. You can easily find numerous little add-on gifts that are inexpensive like candles or incense or something like that. Pros: unusual items Cons: none that I can think of? more

Fun eclectic flower and gift shop 4/16/2009

I have lived in the Evanston area for years and always treasure my trips to this shop. They always have a great selection of flowers that are unique and fresh - no baby breath's here! - According to the employees, the flowers come in almost daily and freshness of flowers is a big part of my decisions in flower purchasing. Another reason I love this place is while I'm waiting for my flowers, I get to rummage through the store full of unique gifts and plants and play with the 2 kitties on site, whom - by the way, run the place. Check this shop out!! Pros: Wide selection of fresh flowers and amazing unique gifts Cons: hard to find parking more

Impressive and creative 1/29/2009

I ordered flowers for my wife for our anniversary last week. It was the nicest arrangement she has ever recieved and I have ordered from a few local places. You can tell they put thought and creativity into it. The woman I placed the order with was helpful and I let her choose what to do and it came out perfect. Needless to say I will be ordering from them again next time. Pros: Helpful,creative, good value Cons: didn't find them sooner!! more
