Whole Foods is a great grocery store for those with health in mind. They have many organic products including vegetables, fruits, meats, and other items. They also sell lots of vegetarian foods, pre-made meals in their café area, wines, and other liquors. It is kind of pricey but you are paying for organic foods which come at a premium.

I am on my third child with this practice, and have received nothing less than stellar care. In fact, I'm quite surprised at these reviews? Perhaps the billing was mixed up as they went "paperless" in the last year? My first daughter was "regular" delivery, second c-section--I recommend Dr. Pellar most highly--she's caring, knowledgeable and takes the time to answer all my questions.

Dr. Jaqueline David is the best family doctor I ever had. She was my doctor from the moment I moved to Evanston to the moment I moved out-of-state. She felt more like a friend than a doctor, she helped me through many times, some good (the pregnancy) some not so good (different health problems over all these years...). I still regret leaving Chicago area because I haven't found a "replacement" for her. If she takes any new patients- I highly recommend her. BTW- she is NOT one of the doctors that listen only 5 minutes to their patient. She will take all the time you need to answer all your question and to find the best solution for your problems. What can I say- she is the best.

I have found the Evanston Northwestern Medical Group to be extremely convenient. The last two times I woke up with a serious ailment, I was able to get an appointment that day! It was a relief to be able to see a doctor and get relief from my worries. I also trust my doctor because she was confident enough to refer me to a specialist rather than ignoring my symptoms.
The offices are right by the EL and Metra stop in Evanston, so it's pretty convenient. The facilities seem kind of old, but the staff carry about in a professional manner.

I've been there for both of my cataract surgeries and for an epidural for a herniated disk.
The folks in outpatient surgery are well-organized and helpful. The operating room as well appointed and organized.
Post-surgery the outpatient surgery floor had helpful peole who monitored nicely without hovering.
Evanston hospital is a great choice for outpatient surgery.
My wife and I have also had good experiences with them for lab tests, xrays, etc.

Started taking my cats here when they were young. Then I moved near Wrigleyville, but like the Bramer Animal Hospital service and staff so much that I drive back whenever I need to. They are gentle and caring and I enjoy going there. I had cats neutered here and ingrown nails taken care of. I highly recommend.

I saw Dr. Gendleman a couple years ago when I first became concerned about some moles I had and wanted them to be checked out by a specialist. I thought that he was very responsive. My only problem with his was that he suggested a very short list of people to go to for mole removal (plastic surgeons), so if you have an HMO or a limited list of doctors he may not be the best person to go to. But I do appreciate that he wanted me to see someone who would really minimize the scarring on a relatively visible area and acknowledged that he was not the person to do it.

My husband and I have been seeing him and are very happy. He explains every step he does and the problems in out teeth. As he explains the problems, we learn how to take care of our teeth.
After the treatment, if we feel uncomfortable, we call him and he takes the things we say seriously. If he needs, he takes a look immediately.
If you are thinking of an appointment, act fast. Spots fill very quickly.

Although this Target location has been around for ages, it has just newly been remodled and it is now great! This store is huge and filled with lots of things for the entire family. They carry it all, electronics, clothing, home furnishings, and much, much more. The cool this is that with the new renovations, they have even added a grocery section so you can get all that in your trip too! There's also a little Pizza hut and a Starbucks inside. You can literally spend hours in this store because there's so much to see and so many things to get from one store. Service here is great too and there's plenty of people around to help you loacte things.
