I went for an oil change, was informed by Chris of some inspection "failures" he then brought me to my car in the shop pointed them out and explained them to me, I dont know alot about cars. He provided me a written estimate at which he called a "fair deal at a fair price". I have gone to two other local shops for an inspection and the problems were genuine. They quoted me slightly higher pricing with less of a friendly attitude. I will be going back to see Chris at Doc Able's and I would recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks alot Chris!

I love my car and am now on my third VW. Only this time rather than leasing, I purchased. After shopping elsewhere, I was introduced to The Autobarn of Evanston where I bought my 2007 Passat. While they offered me better pricing, it was not only price that set Autobarn apart from its competitors. It was the welcoming attitude from their service team that made a deeper impression on me and I now understand why.
I work for a luxury hotel brand where service and guest experience are never compromised. I share this with you because every time I visit Autobarn, I am greeted by someone who is happy to assist me and appreciative of my business. After I bought my last car, I took it them to have it checked and I had a coupon with me for couple services they were offering. The staff was very friendly and they gave a ride back to my home after I left my car there for the brake service. They give me a very good estimate and did a good brake job. I believe, their technicians are skilled and are doing a very good job.

I have been using Duxler for all my repair needs since moving to Evanston in 1998. The staff does not change and they stand behind all their work. It is rare to trust someone in the auto repair business. I trust Duxler and they have not let me down.

After the new jetta came out to a market, I went to the dealership and checked the car out. The sales rep was very friendly and he didn't bother me at all. He gave me my space, didn't force me and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. I took the car for a test drive by myself and freely tested it. By the way, it's a very nice car and has a huge trunk space. I strongly recommend this dealership to who is considering VW.

I bought my brand new 2007 Nissan Altima from this dealer. Sales manager Eric was very friendly and professional. I got a fair deal on my trade-in and they were aggressive with the pricing. They even worked it out so I could get upgraded wheels on my new car at a fair price. They did not have the exact car in stock that I wanted -- but got it quickly and even gave me a new car to use while I waited to take delivery of the one they ordered for me...nice touch.
I knew what I wanted and what I was willing to pay -- so the negotiating was minimal and painless. Evanston might be out of the way for some -- but it is definitely worth it to make the trip as you will be treated fairly and courteously. Highly recommended -- if you are buying a Nissan/Volkswagen/Mazda -- give them a chance to earn your business, you will not regret it.Suggestion: do yourself a favor and ask for the sales manager Eric

I was researching for awhile looking for a good deal on a used car. I was interested in Nissan altimas and had my eyes set on it. After doing tons of researching and spending my days off going to car dealerships which by the way were useless i FINALLY found these guys! I found the car I wanted online and it seemed like such a great deal . I went there and talked with two guys (derek and david)whom were really helpful, and extremely professional. They werent at all pushy (which most of them are) and they took their time to help me with all my financing. They worked with me and what i wanted as far as mileage, price and financing. I left with the exact car i had in mind and hassle free!! It was well worth it :) I highly recommend evanston isuzu!

I bought my 2004 Toyota Corolla from Evanston Toyota. It was a painless buying process, and I got more than a fair price. I was pleased with the buying aspect, but when it came to servicing the car there, it left a lot to be desired, especially in price.
I think Evanston Toyota is not its own business anymore and has joined with other dealers to become Fox Lake Toyota.
I stopped going to Evanston Toyota for my service because their prices were high and the waits were usually long. Their waiting area is somewhat dingy and salespeople were always bothering you as you waited! It never made sense because you already have one of their cars!
I am happier now using another local Toyota dealer. The new services at Fox Lake might be better, but it's still probably too expensive!
