Michael O'brien

While I was waiting to be seen several years ago I overheard him talking on the phone to another neurologist from St. Als. Dr. O'brien and I use the term doctor loosely, was shamefully begging this other doctor to let him join his practice. When he came into the room where I was waiting, he began asking rude questions and making rude comments about my weight and life style. It is obvious other physicians also have no respect for him. I wished I would have had the nerve to tell him I overheard his begging and how desperate he sounded. He should have his medical license revoked. more

Unfortunately I have nothing nice to say about the way Dr. O'brien treats a patient. Last summer I was in a car accident and was to be checked out by him. He asked me personal questions that had nothing to do with the accident nor did it have anything to do with the pain I was feeling. I understand doctors do this to seem friendly, but he wasn’t anywhere near being friendly. He gave his rude opinions on my life such as about my friends, my family, my job, and even my birth control pills I take. I literally left his office in tears because of how disgusted I was. I have never met a doctor that was as unprofessional as Mr. O'brien. He needs to learn that his personal opinions about things completely non-related to what he is doing are unnecessary and rude! I am just glad I never have to go back to him again. more
