Mechanical animals won?t measure up for older kids 7/29/2008

A Disney classic ride, Jungle Cruise takes you on a boat ride, featuring mechanical animal figured. It?s cute to see the animal machines squirting water or wrecking safari camps, but it?s a little too kitchy for kids over the age of 10, at least in my opinion. If your party is on the older side, I would say skip this ride and just go see the live creatures at Animal Kingdom or at your local zoo. more

Rides bring Disney animated classics to life 7/24/2008

Fantasyland houses rides based off some of the most iconic Disney cartoon classics: a flying elephant aerial ride for ?Dumbo,? an elevated boat ride for ?Peter Pan,? spinning tea cups for ?Alice in Wonderland? as well as attractions for ?Snow White? and ""Winnie the Pooh."" Take a spin on Cinderella?s carousel, check out the 3-D movie featuring Mickey & friends, and take the ever-popular ?It?s A Small World? boat ride. The attractions at Fantasyland are not to be missed, especially if you have younger kids in your group. more

Great visuals 9/17/2007

Not a lot goes on during this ride. It's slow and there aren't any drops or loops, but the visuals are great!! So creative and fun to look at. The line proves how loved this ""ride"" is, but it's definitely worth the long wait. Also, stuff pops out out of nowhere and you will surely jump or shriek at least once, but it's all in good fun. Pros: Fun! Cons: long line more

an unexpected treat 4/28/2006

I wasn't sure I was going to like this ride, sure it would be hokey. I was delightfully surprised by how engaging and fun this ride is. Not truly scary, but truly an experience no one should miss. Pros: classic, amusing more

Incredibly cute and fun! 4/27/2006

The Tiki Room has been lambasted for being as dull as ""small world', but I loved it! The animatronic birds prove interesting for adults, and fantastic for kids, and who doesn't love a sing along? The rainshower at the end will make you believe the weather has taken a turn for the worse outside. Lines are always short. Pros: fun, kitschy more

the guide makes the ride 4/27/2006

Having a clever and funny guide is the trick to enjoying this ride, which I have been lucky enough to have everytime. Otherwise, it could get boring with the semi-hokey animatronics. Pros: hilarious guide, shaded and cool more

wonderful! 4/30/2003

This is a CLASSIC ride. I love when it looks like the ghost is sitting in my lap! more

a blast 2/3/2003

A Disney classic ride. Fun for all ages. The line for this ride does move at a quick pace more

A not to be missed CLASSIC! 7/15/2002

Still my favorite after all these years, The Haunted Mansion is a must see when at the Magic Kingdom. They have sped up the loading of the ride so youll probably miss a lot of the aging portrait in the entry lobby but the rest of the ride is still pretty much the same even though some of the effects have been improved. I do miss the cawing crow on the tree as you slide down the hill backwards after exiting the attic though! The cast can really help to make this ride hope you get a good actor with the ability to startle at least SOME of the guests when they say Drag your wretched bodies to the dead center of the room youll have a much better time if you do! Pros: classic ride, great special effects, good story line Cons: long waits, shortened entry show, missing crow! more

an oldie but a goodie! 5/19/2002

This has been one of my favorite rides starting back to when I was six years old. This looks like a real haunted house, with a scary butler who greets you. He takes you on a tour, then you get in a car that takes through the house. The best part is when you ride by a mirror and see the ghost sitting next to you in the car. ( EEK!) Fun for all ages ( and really not toooo scary for younger kids, just make sure there is an adult to hold their hand) Pros: not too scary, fun more
