I have stayed at several of the Disney Resorts and Saratoga Springs is currently the most peaceful that I have experienced. The two bedroom plus living room and kitchen combo provided for over 1,000 sq feet of living space. The biggest difference was the quiet atmosphere. While there were families with young children, there did not seem to be as many as in other resorts. It is located across the waterway from Downtown Disney and there is a shuttle boat that can take you across. I stayed in the Congressional area and it was only a short walk to Downtown Disney. Check in was easy and there was no need to go to the desk to check out. I forgot my ethernet cable but housekeeping had one to loan me in about an hour. This is probably not the best resort if you have teens or want an atmosphere with lots of activity. If you want something a bit more laid back, you might want to check in to Saratoga Springs.

This LMT understand the finesse of Reiki and other energy healing! Her husband is a local acupuncturist so she is well-versed in the world of alternative meds! Call ahead for an appt with Vicki- it's worth the hassle. You can luck out and find a cancellation but don't count on it! Vicki's office is calming and she has a private bath to regroup in after the massage. A treasure in Central Florida! Vicki treated my friend who had cancer and she proved to be not only a top-notch LMT but also a compassionate soul. May her business continue to flourish!

This spa is located on the Grand Floridian’s property, a short walking distance from the hotel itself. The ladies lounge has lockers where they provide you with spa robes and slippers. It’s nothing fantastic and I actually found it to be a little small with not enough chairs for everyone who was waiting for their appointments. The massage itself was wonderful and the room was very tranquil. After, I received a pedicure in an anything but relaxing or nice room. Overall, for the prices paid, I was not that impressed.
