The best steak i've had. The waiter was very nice and was very good explaining the menu to us. We also had dessert which there are no words to describe it but delicious. I love how they show the different kinds of steak and the live lobster that comes out on the cart.

The Grand Floridian is located in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. It is a deluxe resort and spa located on Disney Property. Looking to stay at the very best resort in Disney World? Then this is place for you! Modeled after the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, Disney has a perfect ten in this resort. While I have not been lucky enough to stay here yet, I visit it often and love taking in the beauty of the hotel and grand architecture. The character breakfast here is fabulous. Make sure to at least visit the hotel if you are not planning on staying here!

I've stayed at the Polynesian a few times and I have to say this is one of Dineys most romantic hotels, espcially at night. Its just beautiful with the scenrary and tiki torches at night. Plus this is one of the hotels hooked up to the monorail so you can get everywhere quickly. This is one of there better hotels so its expensive but so pretty. Plus, your literally 5 steps away from Magic Kingdom almost. This is a great hotel for couple or familys, there lots of family activities to do around there and there fantastic charater breakfast. The rooms are nicely sized and it really has the Disney magic there.

I would recommend these movers to anyone. Roderick, the supervisor on site, was quick, careful and a great leader. We had not a single concern regarding our possessions. They were absolutely fabulous!!!

Sometimes its really hard coming home after such a romantic and uplifting
experience. Now back to real life (LOL) but I am awaiting all my photos to
bring back the pure bliss my spouse and I enjoyed last week (smile). I wanted to list here all the neat places at our resort. There is the Market
Street Food Court with 4 separate counter service shops (open am to pm);
The Banana Cabana Pool Bar was a great hit where you could sip on frozen
drips made with favorite berries and rum or vodka while sitting at the pool!!!!
(Open from noon to Midnight) and they also had the Calypso Trading Post
where I bought all kinds of souvenirs and the daily paper. Shop open
daily from 6:30 am - 11 pm.

I have not stayed at Disney's Boardwalk Hotel, located in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, so I can not comment on the accommodations, but it is a Deluxe Disney Property Resort. Disney went all out here and made another beautiful resort.
The neat feature here is the Board Walk- it is lined with nightlife, restaurants and shops to keep you busy. It also has lots of free standing entertainment that you would find on an Northeastern Board Walk.
Don't forget to make a stop here while in Disney World!

A family from church took us for a tour of the place and then we had food at one of the restaraunts. We loved it. It was so over the top, but it was great. If I were a kid I would feel like I am in the jungle. They also have an area where you can look at animals and at night with nigth vision goggles. Loved it, how cool is that? The food that I liked was really good. There was a pretty good variety of food, some I liked and some I didn't. But overall, I thought the food was excellent. I do not know what the cost for staying there is, but if it is fair, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I recently took our 2 kids to Orlando for a 4 day adventure. On our way out the last day we accidently came across Funspot while trying to find the cheapest gas prices. We bought 2 unlimited passes for the kids and sat under the shade while they started their day. After about 10-15 minutes of watching them on those go-karts... needless to say I looked at my husband and said lets do this. He was gone in a flash. :) When all had a total blast!!! We actually enjoyed it better than the past few days we had spent at them theme parks. We seriously felt like kids again.

I have never stayed at the Yacht club, but Beach Club is great. This is an amazing place to stay, it is luxurious but laid back. Stormalong Bay is the best resort pool that Ihave ever seen. It is huge! It is also a great location opposite the boardwalk, so there are many restaurants and activities within walking distance. I also love being able to walk (or boat) to both MGM and Epcot. You can see Illuminations from some of the villas!

More
We recently returned from a heavenly week-long stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Lodge. (This is not to be confused with the nearby campground of the same name - this is the lodge, definitely *not* camping.) The resort is done in a Northwest Wilderness theme, which is evident from the moment you drive up to the front entrance. No one does theming like Disney. When you enter the lobby, you are surrounded by Northwestern style luxury, from the gleaming hardwood floors to the several-story high totem pole to the huge rock fireplace and the "rushing river". Although the lobby is huge, it manages to be inviting as well. There are several groupings of overstuffed chairs, a large front desk area, a corner with a simulated rushing river and fountain, complete with rustic wooden bridge and large boulders, and a huge corner fireplace made from river rocks.
The rooms are done in the same rustic luxury style with lots of dark wood and rich colors. We stayed in a junior suite, which I highly recommend for families if you want some extra space. Our room had a bedroom that was seperated from the main room with french doors. We also had a very large bathroom with double sinks and an oversized tub and shower. In the main room we had a queen sizer sleeper sofa, a refrigerator, a small bar with sink, a small table with three chairs and a large television. In the bedroom we had two double beds, an oversized armoire, a full sized dresser and a large plasma screened TV. The main room and the bedroom each had doors leading to private balconies which overlooked the lake.
The suggestions I would make are to ask for a room on a high floor for the best view and to bring your own hangers! There is ample closet space, but the hotel does not provide hangers. Also, remember to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. The one provided by the hotel is a shampoo/condition combination.
The pool area is fabulous and in keeping with the Northwestern theme. There are large decorative boulders, a waterfall and even a "rock" waterslide. There is a seperate kiddie pool and a hot tub. You can also order drinks (both alcoholic and non) from the pool bar, which is open until 10pm each day. There are plenty of pool chairs, towels and tables. We never had a problem finding a space for our family of five, and we were there at the end of July. Be prepared for the pool to close whenever there is a thunderstorm in the area, which can be about every afternoon in Florida!
There are three restaurants located in this hotel: a casual grab and go place, a casual sit down restaurant and a formal sit down restaurant. I don't have personal experience in any but the grab and go - and that was fine. They serve the typical quick fare you'd expect, such as hamburgers, sandwiches, drinks, snacks (great brownies!) and ice cream. My suggestion is that on your first day you purchase one of their plastic drink mugs. They cost $11.99, but are refillable for your entire stay. We would use them for coffee in the morning and them wash them out to use them for soda and iced tea throughout the day.
Another major bonus of this resort is its central location. It is served by both boats and busses. There are two boat runs - one will take you directly to the Magic Kingdom and the other will take you to Fort Wilderness Campground and the Polynesian Resort, where you can connect to the monorail. The busses serve Epcot, MGM Studios, Downtown Disney and the Animal Kingdom.
