Words cannot describe the magic of this theme park it truly earns the name Magic Kingdom. I visited the park with my nieces and nephews last month and I was so pleased I didn't want to leave. The rides were classic. The atmosphere was magic. I truly did feel like a child again. I would recommend this Theme Park to the young and the young at heart.

I have a Eeyore watch that is over 10 years old. I love this watch. I bought it on Mainstreet in Disney. They have this fantastic watch store there. All the watches have a character on them. Some characters you do have to search for but you will find them. My Eeyore watch is awesome. It has a cloud above Eeyores head and it changes colors with my moods. It is the best thing ever! I also got a Goofy watch there. That one is cool too because the numbers on the watchface are backwards. Sometimes it is hard to figure out the time but it is just so cool!

This park is just WOW! I have never been to anything like this before, it is totally original. It is all about aligators, there are hundreds of em I think. You walk in and get in line and you are alread in the Gatorness. On the walls are hanging real whole aligator skins, and you can see them close up. Its so amazing. Then when you walk in into the park itself its just gators all around. So many of them lying everywhere. They do shows with the aligators like "gator jumping" where they make em "jump" for chickens. I saw an aligator with only 3 paws, one of his paws was cut off or something, but I could see that because I was so close. But the part I remember most about Gatorland is the food court. THEY SERVE ALIGATOR!! I have never eaten aligator befoe this, interesting experience. It kind of tastes like chicken. I cant say that I liked it, or disliked it. They sell nuggets (like chicken nuggets only they are gator nuggets) and ribs. But get some fries and a drink to wash it down. I would sy this is a definite destination for a Florida vacation.

This is the best place to take out-of-town guests to give them a feel of old time Florida. And believe me, you can easily spend a whole day there. The kids absolutely love it. Looking at real gators really opens there eyes to the wonder of nature. We just never get there as much as we should. Highly recommend Gatorland as an original place to visit.

Universal's Islands of Adventure is the perfect place for the thrill seeker. If you like big and fast roller coasters, you will love the Incredible Hulk and Dueling Dragons Coasters. There are lots of thrill rides here and this park is more suited for adults, teens and younger thrill ride enthusiasts.
While there is not as many choices for young kids at Islands of Adventure, there are some areas of the park and rides they will love. Dr Suess Land is great for kids and the theming is awesome. They will love the fun designs and colors and will think they walked into their favorite Dr. Suess book.
Universal did a nice job here with the theming- they did a good job with the details. And while it is not quite a detail oriented as Disney, it is as close as you can get. They are have done well keeping Islands of Adventures clean and well maintained.

My husband and I recently took our 2 kids to Orlando for a 4 day adventure. On our way out the last day we accidently came across Funspot while trying to find the cheapest gas prices. We bought 2 unlimited passes for the kids and sat under the shade while they started their day. After about 10-15 minutes of watching them on those go-karts... needless to say I looked at my husband and said lets do this. He was gone in a flash. :) When all had a total blast!!! We actually enjoyed it better than the past few days we had spent at them theme parks. We seriously felt like kids again.

This place has been around for years and has been kept up the times and updated many times with new rides. Theres tons of stuff to do there for all ages. Theres even a little place for the kiddies to go so they can do some "ride" like the adults. Plus of course theres the lazy river which is a great way to end the day, just floating around.

This is always a great place to spend an afternoon. They keep it up nicely and there is a nice open area out front for a picnic or just relaxing after taking in all of the wonderful masterpieces. They have a permanent instalation with antique pieces which is very educational for kids too.

Ok, as a visitor every few years, one of my favorite destinations is Orlando's Citywalk. Typically this kind of place ain't my thing, but for some reason, I enjoy the grand open space of the Citywalk for dining and people watching. I personally skip the stores as they all seem aimed at cheese or else are way overpriced for merchandise you can get elsewhere. But grab a latte and park yourself down in the sun and it's perfect for soaking in that most interesting of animals, humans. Nearby (read, attached) are some great amusement parks too...go for Islands of Adventure to avoid the bore. Hard Rock Cafe across the lagoon won't steer you wrong either for a hearty American meal. Only downsides are the parking and the fact that this place is in the middle of bonking nowhere.
Pros: Sun sun sun
Cons: Sometimes TOO many people to watch
