They say its no more than 5 minutes or its free... but really, you're on a timed belt (once you put your car in neutral), so the only way it could take longer than 5 minutes is if you put your car in park just to kink up the works. it's not like you have to worry about a pile-up in here. i've been here a couple of times and finally decided to spring for the $20 book of washes (5 for the price of 4 -- with no expiration date!). i'm hoping it was a worthy investment -- i usually forget that i either have the coupon or i can't find the coupon. hopefully by typing this, i'll remember next time. i'm notorious for having a dirty car. in the 2 years i've had my car, it has been washed 4 times (i just don't care as much as i should). as i said above, 2 of those washings have been here, and really the only reason is that i can sit in my damn car while the outside gets cleaned and wiped dry in 5 minutes. i just hate moving around sometimes. hell, i'm getting angry that i have more to type, causing my fingers and hands to move about the keyboard. while its only the outside that gets cleaned by machine (and wiped by human), i could clean the inside myself using their vacuum system, but then i'd have to get off my butt and that would defeat the entire purpose of the 5 minute car wash. all in all, you get what you pay for. more

Until LA I had always lived where it rained every tree or four days and never saw the need to wash my car, I just let nature take care of it. I attempted to do that in LA when I first got my car, but since it didn't rain for those six months, I decided to try a new plan. Now, about once a month I go over to Madison car wash. I give them six bucks, vacuum my car, and then drive through the car wash with my music blaring and my eyes close until they knock on my door giving me a strange look. Though I must report today, yes today, is the first time that I drove through the wash with my eyes open and the music at a volume that wasn't actually painful. And I am still alive to write about it. The car wash did not swallow me. Thank you Madison Car Wash for proving to me that Car Washes are necessary and benign. more

My husband got his car washed at Madison this morning. It's a drive-through, which is at once more fun and not as thorough. So $6 is reasonable for that, throw in free unlimited (in theory) use of their vacuums with the wash and it becomes a pretty good deal more

- The place is easy & comfortable. - Good equipment. - They clean fast (that's why results are poor). - The Thai cashier is very nice & will remember you. - The Manager (with the mustache) is generally helpful. - They offer cheap & easy exterior wash for $6 more

$5 car wash ($4 if you keep on going): Quick and easy. They have a $5 / 5 minute car wash (touchless) and you also get to use their vacuum (diy). Then you get at $1 off coupon for next time, so if you continue going there, it's really only $4 bucks for a quick car wash. Takes less than 2 minutes. more
