Dr song, is great!! I came in for debilitating back to shoulder pain, I thought it was a combination of sleeping improperly as well as holding stress from computer use...it was so excruciating that I was on my way to an appointment and stopped IMMEDIATELY where I was going to go to Dr Song, with whom I had scheduled an appointment in a few days.Needless to say he saw me immediately and after he did some very thorough test he treated me. After one treatment I was instantly out of pain, he said that if I feel any hint of it still there to come back...I've been fine ever since. He was a lifesaver! more

Song is funny, creative and most giving and caring doctor I ever had. I recommend Song and Damien to everyone who may need help when traditional medicine and western approach to healing do not produce results. Give it a try! more

Big thumbs up 10/30/2011

I've been getting acupuncture for 15 years from a number of doctors, many of whom were very good. This place is the best. Song treated me for some muscle/tendon/ligament problems and within three treatment I was better. No one else has worked that effectively. He's thoughtful, thorough, caring and funny. Definitely go to this guy! more

Life Savers 10/23/2010

I've had scoliosis since I was little and as the pain has become crippling over the past few years, I was afraid it would eventually require surgery. Since going to these wonderful and knowledgeable people, I no longer have any pain and feel better than ever!!! more

Changed my life 4/13/2010

I was completely skeptical but out of options when I first saw Song. I had been told by 3 top orthopedic surgeons that my only option for alleviating my back pain was a spinal fusion. I had been on various medications every day for the past 3 years for pain and still unable to function. After the first treatment by Song I stopped taking any pain medication. I still had some pain but it was such a relief on my stomach to not take any more meds. Now a couple of months later, I feel better than I thought possible, it is really nothing short of a miracle. \r Pros: Excellent more

this place is great- I thought my body was falling apart and he made me feel a million times better on the first visit. He also gave me needles which were tiny and on a band-aid, I kept em in for 2 days and felt like I was brand-new, I wish I would have just left em in till my next visit because- they were awesome. La Brea Acupuncture Clinic saved my life. I suffered from debilitating migraines and hives and Dr. Song and his colleagues helpful me immensely. They are kind, supportive and they actually listen where so many doctors don't. They approach acupuncture as though it's an art form, which it is really, and they are painstakingly thorough and investigative, asking questions and making assessments. they also have a lifesaving two day a week DONATION ONLy clinic which in these rough economic times is a God Send. Go visit them. You won't be sorry!!!! Pros: Brilliant doctors, Amazing Place Cons: None that i can see more

First of all, this place is so beautiful inside, second of all their treatments are great! I went for acupuncture then came back for a massage, both services were excellent. The prices are much less than you would pay at a lot of other places in the area. You will leave relaxed and happy! more

Great Acupuncture Treatment 2/1/2009

I am so happy that this place is finally open, it is right by my house. It finally did, I went in and was greated by Hannah, she was very helpful and got me set up for my appointment. They took my insurance which was also nice. I am already feeling better, I am going back for my second apt next week. The atmosphere is lovey, they have spa servies as well - can't wait to try those next! Pros: Location, Service & Atmosphere more
