Erica was the wedding planner for my daughter, Christine's, wedding in La Jolla on August 25. Everything went beautifully and I give the majority of the credit to Erica. She is extremely organized and well prepared. The vendors she recommended were terrific! She contacted and coordinated their schedules. That was a fabulous help! She paid careful attention to every detail. We found ourselves asking her numerous questions and she always had a great answer. She made many suggestions, but let us make the final decisions. She was flexiable, extremely willing to go out of her way to provide us with personal service and took care of many details that we could not handle since we live in Seattle. She has excellent taste and did not hesitate to point out the ""more appropriate"" choices we had open to us. more

Erica is an amazing wedding coordinator. Her professionalism and knowledge of the industry are unmatched. Erica helped take our simple ideas and turn them into works of art. Throughout the planning process Erica was always there for us, going to vendor meetings and always willing to go above and beyond to help us accomplish the next task on our to-do list. I have several married friends, none of them enjoyed their planning process as much as I did and I contribute that to Erica. Erica and her team were beyond incredible on the day of the wedding, they had so many vendors to coordinate with and so many details to orchestrate and everything was done perfectly. It is not in my nature to relax and let other people take over, I had complete trust in Erica and was able to enjoy every moment of my wedding without ever worrying or questioning if everything was getting done-that alone was priceless! I met Erica Hinshaw through a mutual friend a little before my engagement. She offered to help me get the ball rolling with my upcoming wedding, and I thought...""Why not?!"", Most of my family lives in Chicago and I thought I would at least be gaining a second set of eyes and ears for the whole wedding planning year. What I did not realize as I made this casual decision was that I was making the most important decision of wedding planning!!! Erica turned out to be that second set of ears and eyes, but more than that she become an invaluable tool that helped me navigate through the stress and complications of the wedding world! She helped me form a vision, negotiate contracts, formulate a budget, and stick to a timeline. We went to some meetings together, some we would divide and conquer. We meet regularly, and slowly but surely the tasks of my 200 person wedding here in San Diego, were being checked off the list! The money we spent on Erica more than payed itself back, as she used her relationships and insider tips to keep us from making big mistakes with our money. Every vendor she put us in contact with was amazing! I would never have stumbled onto the vendors I chose without Erica! Erica become more important as the days drew closer to the wedding day. She had my 20+ person wedding party in check with emails and reminders, and helped run last min. errands and even saved the day on a few mishaps. She kept me calm in those final days, and I could tell how seriously she took our vision of our wedding, and how focused she was on pulling it all off for us. There were things that happened that day that I later found out about that would have been added stress for a bride, but because of Erica I never knew! She just handled it all!!! I got to enjoy my day, and the wedding was a beautiful and wonderful success!! If there were more stars available, Erica deserves them!! Erica is not only an amazing event planner, she is an amazing person. She brings her positive attitude with her in everything that she does. Her energy helps put a bride at ease. She kept me on track with timelines and remembering what was really important. Her outstanding organization and take charge (when needed) attitude kept me sane and made my wedding weekend completely stress free! Her negotiating with the Hotel kept us out of having to deal with it ourselves; she handled everything with great professionalism and care; as if it were her own wedding. more

We looked for a ""day of"" wedding planner for our daughter's wedding in September. What we got instead was Erica Hinshaw and much, much more. Erica went far beyond our expectations and worked with us for several weeks before the wedding. The days leading up to ""The Day"", Erica negotiated strongly on our behalf with the caterer, the reception venue and the hotel for our out of town guests. more

""Wow! Erica went above and beyond in planning our beautiful wedding. I did not know if I was going to use a wedding planner, but now I can't imagine not using Erica when planning a wedding! Erica thought of things that I never would have known about, plus she is extremely detail oriented which is a must in the wedding business. Erica also helped with all vendor coordination and communication. This was a huge help because I learned that vendors tend to forget all the details you decided on, but Erica is there to remind them and make sure it gets done. Erica also helped in event design as she has an amazing eye for this! She made sure set up was perfect and added details that I am so thankful for. Erica also helped me save money by knowing which vendors to use and how much we should be paying for different portions of the wedding. She was involved in every detail of the wedding from the major decisions to even helping me find/buy items to stuffing gift bags and more. I seriously could not have done this without her. I ended up moving in the middle of wedding planning and Erica made sure everything was as smooth as possible.
