If you are looking for a fun night with the girls just to relax, this is the place to go! The drinks are amazing and the service is even better! Never disappointed when I go!

Fun Place to GO!!! 10/21/2011

Too much fun! 4/6/2009

This place is amazing! I like to hop back and forth between here and Einsteins, but this place is where the real fun is at. You can go any day of the week and get a different experience. From trivia, to nintendo bowling, this place knows how to have a good time. Great lunch specials without breaking the bank. Not to mention about a zillion shooters! Pros: Casually awesome Cons: nothing! more

Average Bar Food but Great Atmosphere 2/3/2009

The food is your standard bar fare---burgers and fries. The atmosphere is very festive especially when the patio is open. It's a place to see and be seen. Pros: Great Patio Cons: Parking more

Mmmmmmm... chicken philly..... 12/13/2008

Great outdoor patio, Great appetizers.. (tanked chicken nachos) great food overall (chicken philly for me, grilled salmon salad for the lady) Service is very attentive, after we had been a few times the waiter already knew what we liked. Only bad thing is the limited menu after hours(9ish i believe) Pros: Outdoor seating in summer, fireplaces inside in winter Cons: limited menu after 9 more

Great burger! 11/20/2008

In general, I really love this place. Not because I've been eating here since the mid 90's or because I spent the summer of 1999 working here (and, yes, we did party like it was with a soundtrack courtesy of Cher and the Backstreet Boys) or even because I met my ex here (started good, ended bad), but because it's one of the few places in this city that remains a constant. Pros: people-watching, patio, cheap Cons: can get crowded, service is iffy more

Great atmosphere, bad food 7/10/2008

We ordered two separate things and tehy seemed to have been prepared at two separate restaurants. My partner's food was as ordered and delicious. I ordered a reuben sandwich and it was awful. Our server was nowhere in sight and I couldn't get anyone else's attention. After a while, sending food back becomes problematic for several reasons, but mostly because it changes the timing of the meal for those at the table. So, I ate what I could of it. The bread was rock-hard, like toast left in the toaster far beyond any desired setting. The corned beef was overcooked and dry. If I go back to JOJ, I won't be ordering that again. I just hope I don't go back there. Pros: Great music, large drinks, outdoor dining Cons: bad food more

Great hangout spot 7/8/2008

The BEST BURGER and FRIES i found. But i had the pasta another night and it was the worst i ever had. Drinks are good, and generous. The prices are pretty average for midtown ATL, but not too bad. Great place for a drink after work, or a night out with a group of friends. You can park across the street for a few bucks or valet parking right next to it, but DO NOT park for free. 90% of the time, you'll be towed. The staff is almost all gay, and for the most part very nice. Plenty of different places for you to chill; either outside on the open deck, or under the covered deck, or inside. Bathrooms can be crowded, because there were only two stalls, but clean overall. Pros: great burgers, cute staff, roomy, clean bathrooms Cons: pay for parking, slow service more

Don't be in a rush. 9/12/2007

Joes on Juniper is a good hangout spot, especially for gay people. It has a good atmosphere with upbeat music. The jukebox is open for people to choose their own songs inside. It's especially relaxing on a summer night when you can sit outside late at night with the breezy air. Servers know their drinks. The only bad thing about Joe's on Juniper is the fact that their servers take FOREVER to come check on your table and take your order. Other than that: great place to eat multiple times. Pros: People-watching, outdoor seating, good prices, good music Cons: service time more

Nice place 11/5/2006

Went for lunch after church service (The New Covenant Church of Atlanta) the overall service was good the burger was great the fries were cold the waitstaff service were pleasent lots of family wink:) wink:) parking not the greatest but i didn't have to pay to park more

Good Place to Drop in for Lunch 9/14/2006

I recently went to Joe's with a friend and opted to sit outside on the patio. The service was relatively prompt and the food was on the good side of bar food. I have to recommend the fries- very crispy and they stayed hot for a while. Though we didn't drink, the beer menu seems to have some good options ranging from high alcohol bottles to pitchers and daily specials. The music was upbeat and added a fun touch. The only drawbacks were the flies swarming around everyone's food but I'd imagine that is the price you pay when sitting outside on a warm day. Pros: outdoor patio and fun music Cons: parking more

Horrible Service!!! 8/2/2006

Dear Manager, Pros: Price Cons: service, parking more

Restaurant Gone Bad 6/30/2006

This used to be one of my favorite midtown patio dining spots. But has it ever gone down hill fast. If you like sitting with a bunch of unruly drunks, below average food, and slow service, this is for you. Will not return anytime soon. No management in sight. Pros: Great Midtown Location Cons: Below Average Food more

Great Spinach Dip 11/22/2005

This place has the absolute best spinach dip I've ever had. Pros: spinach dip, Good prices more

best cheap outdoor dining 7/28/2005

Joe's rocks, both in the winter sitting by the fireplaces or in the summer sitting outside. I always get the chicken philly, and my wife gets the blackened salmon salad(which she says is 2nd only to getting salmon in Seattle). The tanked chicken nachos are a great way to start your dinner. The wait staff is incredibly fun and social, not the typical staff that will barely talk to you. One bad thing people complain about is the parking, there is a small parking lot(maybe 12-15 spaces) on the property, but there is plenty of street parking, and if you can't parallel park there is a pay lot across the street(2.50-3 bucks) Pros: atmosphere, food, staff Cons: cons? more

Fun staff, great food, cheap martinis! 7/14/2005

I go on my lunch break at least every other week. My coworkers and I love the atmosphere. The servers are always attentive. The food is great- that includes the dessert. You'd better take one car because parking is very limited. Overall, this is a great place to dine with friends. Pros: Food Cons: Parking more

A good time! 5/3/2005

Joe's ia a fun, casual place with good beer and decent drinks. Tuesday is ""trivia"" night and it was a good time. The servers are fun and casual, polite and efficient. Also lot's of outdoor seating and parking for $5 accross the street. Pros: outdoor seating more

Good food & great people 1/15/2004

Joe's is a great place to chill out with friends or grab a quick bite. I'll admit that I'm a regular but there's a good reason for that. The patio is a great place when the weather's nice but gathering inside next to one of the numerous fireplaces on a cold evening is nice as well. The food is good and they have a huge selection of beers. The real draw is the atmosphere and the people, both the employees and regular customers. The service may be a little inconsistent at times, but its definitely still worth it. Pros: Great patio, Atmosphere, Good people Cons: Parking more

Good Time Late on a Sunday 11/22/2002

I dropped in late on a Sunday night with a friend. Not crowded as I would expect late on a Sunday. Joes is good for a late drink on Sunday and a quick bite. Friendly service but then again we knew the waiter. Drinks were strong enough but a tad overpriced. I'd come again especially on Sunday night. more

You need to try it! 7/6/2002

Joe's redeems the Metrotainment Restaurant group from the disaster that is Cowtippers. The food is decent, the prices are affordable, the atmosphere is great and the ability to dine casually in midtown for not very much money is appealing. Parking is hard to come by, but the side streets may save you $10. in the pay lots. Pros: Prices, Location, Ambience Cons: Service is variable more

For Beer and Burgers 5/29/2002

A wonderful neighborhood haunt or Saturday afternoon hangout, Joe's is great for beer and burgers. Because Juniper isn't quite as traffic-clogged as other streets in Midtown, sitting on the brick patio at Joe's is especially nice. Be prepared for hefty cocktail prices--if you venture away from the beer list--and erratic service. Pros: patio Cons: pricey cocktails more
