The Other Side of the Story 10/20/2008

As is often the case, the opinion shared by the reviewer, Mr. ATBellaVista, does not tell the entire story. The reviewer called and stated that he was a former employee of a lawn services company hired by IAD to maintain the lawns at a Rochester, NY property. IAD had no prior relationship with this individual and no direct business relationship with him. He went on to explain that he was fired by the lawn services company and was owed back wages from the lawn services company. I explained that I sympathized with his situation, but could not rectify the situation, as he would need to do this through his former employer. \r \r At this point, Mr. ATBellaVista then began to accuse an employee of our firm of being involved in improper practices, but would not be specific. I explained that I appreciated his concern, but due to the fact that I had never met the reviewer ( Mr. ATBellaVista), I would continue to support my employee. He became infuriated by the fact that I would not fire my employee based upon his accusations. Of course, I would not accept the statements from someone I had never met, and instead supported my employee who has been with our organization for over 20 years. I thanked him but made it clear that I would take no action on his accusations.\r This represents the only communication we have had with Mr. ATBella Vista. We have never been involved in ANY business matters with this individual.\r I believe our reputation for working with reasonable people in a respectful manner is known to all who have enjoyed meaningful business relationships with our company over the past 30 years. This gentleman was clearly upset at having lost his employment with a company who we hired to maintain our lawns. It was clear that his real grievance should have been directed towards his former employer and not at our company or our valued employees. more

Hard to get in touch with the right person! 4/23/2008

How do you tell someone that they are getting cheated? I have called the main office at Integrated thinking that it would be easy to get in touch with the proper authority, its not. I was greeted by an understanding secretary who listened to my discreet reason and completely agreed with the expression that stealing from the company you work for is wrong, so she tryed to transfer me to whom she thought would be right. She ended up transfering me to a Mr. Colbert, who was not the right person. He got so defensive that he must be in on the stealing. Our conversation was fast and very rude on his part. By the end of our brief conversation he completely disrespected me and made a derogitory comment then followed it with a strong hang-up. Something seems to be wrong. This shows that old school honest business is gone and people like Mr. Colbert need to get straightened out. Pros: they have alot of property Cons: poor management skills, unable to get in touch with the right person more
