Indiana State Museum is located at White River State Park near Victory Field. I have been to this museum a few times. Last time when I visited, it was winter and they were having old L.S. Ayres department store's original Christmas train for kids to ride. Kids also can visit Santa Clause after the train ride. It was a such a nice monent at the museum. At the time, they were also displaying Japanese quilts. As Japanese native, I was very interested to see those very beautiful quilts!
The area where the Indiana State Museum is located is very beautiful and very peaceful place. The museum has a lot of information about Indiana. You can learn a lot about state of Indiana by visiting this museum. Unfortunately, like any other museums in Indianapolis, the admission fees are a little high.
