This is my favorite place in Los Angeles to buy gifts - for everyone I know. They have books, kids stuff, candles, all kinds of kitch tchotchkes, etc. The staff is very helpful, friendly and informed and their prices are pretty reasonable. I highly recommend you check it out, even if you want a little present for yourself. Also note, their ""sister store,"" Pulp is two doors down and sells all type of cards to go with your fabulous gift.
