dont' go here if you're in san jose 9/2/2005

because san jose has so much more to offer! if you'r ein stockton or a small town then it's good to go here because you dont' have much to choose from. but if you're in San Jose, this is the worst place to dine. There's hardly any food. The drinks and food and ice cream reminds me of horrible dorm food! dont' ever go here when there are so many other buffets to go to! i don't like teh restaurant at all. don't go here! more

Hometown Buffet 8/9/2005

Hometown Buffet is a great buffet for casual family dining. They have a nice selection of food items and also the price is cheap. All you can eat, and the food is good. Sometimes it is really crowded though. I suggest going on Saturday, because that's when they have rib night and the best food! more

Not bad for an all you can eat 7/6/2005

I actually like Hometown Buffet, since it's not that expensive, and the selection of meats is pretty nice -- as opposed to Fresh Choice or the other buffets which pretty much have no options for meat lovers. Last time I went, I had fish and chips, BBQ chicken, and shrimp. The desserts are wide in variety, but medium in quality. The service is great -- non-intrusive as buffet service should be, but helpful when you need something. The price is quite reasonable too! more

It's okay I guess 7/2/2005

This hometown buffet is okay. I really like the service and how they always have tables there because the place is very big and has many tables. If you call someone over to ask for something, they always give you whatever you wanted. I like that restaurant and it has good food and drinks. I would really recommend this site to anyone. more
