I went to Savor for the first time a few weeks back and REALLY enjoyed it here. I found the prices to be reasonable for the quality of food offered, and the ambiance was great. What a great menu! The only downside is that the lines can be really really long on weekend mornings and in general. I would argue that the food was worth the wait, although my friend with me would disagree. Overall, if you want to try excellent crepes or get fresh salmon, you can do both here!

First off, I do not recommend the Madras chicken curry here. I do recommend the orange glazed duck, which is spectacular, and the Tamarine taste appetizer which is scrumptious as well. The staff here is really great -- excellent service. The "Power Lunch" is a good deal. Overall, great food, a few dishes that are so-so but most that are excellent, but a bit pricey for the food quality in my opinion. 4 stars!

Los Lagos is really easy to get to --- even from all the way in Saratoga. The course is nice, the driving range is great and a steal of a deal, and the pro shop has really knowledgable and friendly staff. They have reasonably priced golf lessons too. I enjoy spending the $8 for a large bucket of golf balls and spending an hour at the driving range here. The wait isn't bad, if there is one at all. May not be sophisticated or nice enough for the posh golfer, but for a newbie like me, it's great!

Mimi's has a really neat interior decoration. It's fun to just look around in this place. But the food is so-so --- your typical burgers and fries place for the most part. Almost felt like bar food to me. The dessert I had was good, and the service was great too. For a fun new place to grab a burger, Mimi's is a solid bet. For a nice sit down dinner with family, I wouldn't say Mimi's is the best place to pick around Saratoga.

I love Mandarin Gourmet! Great ambiance and solid service. The food can be slow to come out, but it's worth the wait. The honey walnut prawns are to die for! And the cashew chicken is great as well....

If you are looking to go as a group (family and/or friends) and want somewhere where you can get excellent Chinese food that can be and should be shared, this is your place. Did I mention the honey walnut prawns are INCREDIBLE?! =)

Sushi boat is located right in Westgate, so parking isn't hard to find. The sushi quality is good, but not as good as Miyake's. The food overall is good, not great. The service can be shoddy at times as well. The nice thing is the location, the ease of parking, and the good prices. Overall, if you are looking for sushi takeout, this place is solid. If you are looking for a nice sit down Japanese place, it's a mixed bag.

I am a very picky eater when it comes to Italian food --- and Osteria tops my list. The waiters know their stuff cold. The food is incredibly authentic and delicious. The dessert selection is incredible so leave room for that. Best of all, the prices are incredibly reasonable. Great ambiance, free parking nearby, the best Italian food in town (in the country?), authentic feels-like-youre-in-Italy setting, reasonable prices --- what more could you ask for?!

Rama Thai is the best veggie dish I have had in a while. The lunch curry specials are fantastic. Their Thai iced tea is right on the money. I like the interior decoration here, and the location is great --- right across the street from Westgate with ample parking available. The prices are incredibly reasonable, the food is ready in speedy fashion (but it's well cooked, don't worry!), and the staff is generally pretty nice. The only negative is that the staff tries to rush you out if they are at a busy peak time. But it's definitely worth trying if you are in the mood for Thai and have never been here.

So I went here the other day, around 2 PM for a late lunch which was $6.99. The salad bar was good not great, with meats lacking (I am a big fan of chicken in my salad and they have a mini chicken pack for an extra couple bucks available, which I thought was ridiculous). In terms of the soups, the chicken tortilla soup was perfect and the clam chowder was wonderful too. The muffins were incredible --- there was a mango and cocunut one for this season that my Mom and I loved. The ice cream bar had a nice selection of toppings, but the only ice cream cones are these baby mini ones! Where are the normal sized cones? I like Fresh Choice a bit more, although I would go back for the chicken tortilla soup if nothing else!

I actually like Hometown Buffet, since it's not that expensive, and the selection of meats is pretty nice -- as opposed to Fresh Choice or the other buffets which pretty much have no options for meat lovers. Last time I went, I had fish and chips, BBQ chicken, and shrimp. The desserts are wide in variety, but medium in quality. The service is great -- non-intrusive as buffet service should be, but helpful when you need something. The price is quite reasonable too!
