It is within walking distance of many major attractions in Hollywood. If you get tired of walking, there is free parking out back (very convenient!). more

Could not have asked for better service. We arrived pretty late, about 12am. Our room was still available, we checked in with no bother and had an amazing nights sleep. Room was huge, king size double bed, 2 bedside tables and 2 dressers. Huge bathroom, outstanding shower and bath combo. We booked a bus tour of LA the next day through the owners and instead of letting us walk, the owner gave us a ride to where the pickup point was. more

I liked my stay here 2/10/2011

The property is centrally located in Hollywood and I found the price very economical. The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help you whenever we need. The rooms were clean and well maintained.This one is very much suited for budget travellers. more

Very close to the main attractions 2/4/2011

Very close to the main attractions, take the metro a block from the hotel and you are two stops away from the Kodak theatre, from there you can basically see everything worth seeing on foot. The checkin was easy enough, ring the bell, sign the forms, get the keys. more

This is a very cheap hotel, you get what you pay for. We wanted to stay as at a very low budget hotel so we could have more money to do other things. The room was nice and the staff was helpful. more

The room was sparse, but surprisingly spacious. And they included a decent size mini-fridge--nice touch. If you're looking for a bargain, I recommend it. more

The rooms were nicely decorated and had big comfortable beds along with soft or firm pillow to choose from. The hospitality from the hotel staff was appreciable. more

The location is central, the rooms are huge and CLEAN, and there is parking! When I travel, I don't need frills and amenities, I just need a comfortable room that is clean. The staff here is also friendly. more

It's the least expensive lodging in the area. There's a pretty good wifi connection here. They've got the most inexpensive rates around. The rooms have refrigerators. It's the cheapest place in Hollywood. more

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hollywood Stars Inn. From the outside it doesn't give a good impression but once you're in the room you realize that it's very comfortable and spacious. more

We enjoyed this hotel 11/29/2010

We enjoyed this hotel. The room was very spacious with a king size bed, table, chair, TV, fridge, air conditioning, and generally pretty clean, including the bathroom. The team was fairly young and at our disposal. The breakfast was very basic (coffee with a pastry) We quickly decided to do it ourselves "French" by buying bread roll, jam and yogurt drink in front (hence the usefulness of the small fridge). Another very good point: the hotel has its own parking lot behind (and since we do not do anything without a car in LA it is very handy). Overall, the hotel is ideal for those who want to visit LA and in need of a foothold for the night. more
