There's nothing major about this drug store but it's the oldest one in New Haven that hasn't been bought out by a huge chain.
Hall Benedict offers delivery service to the New Haven area and primarily caters to the older community who can't get around. There's nothing automated, just a regular drug store.
They also sell cards, candy and medicine, like you'd find at any other shop, except on a smaller scale. They do have a post office located inside (check for hours) which helps those get all their errands done at once.
If you'd rather do business with folks who have a strong desire to remain in the New Haven area and offer personalized service, this is the place.
