In my opinion, this is the best Chinese buffet in San Diego, taking price into consideration. Last time I went, their lunches were 6.99. Even the dinner price is aournd 9.99. Thi...

Worst Customer Service Ever 3/21/2010

Good: Food is good the first couple of time you are there, but soon you find that not much satisfies. It’s good for young uncaring crowed that just want to fill their stomach with what ever, fast and cheep. You get what you pay for.. Bad: Customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Absolutely no one smiles and absolutely no one says HELLO or goodbye when you live. SPECIALLY THE YOUNG GUY INCHARGE. Have not seen anyone that speaks English that much. They had food and gum (That’s right “GUM”) Stuck to the clean dishes. Twice in one visit. Also the young guy in charge started a loud fight with a several well dressed customers right in front of the restaurant using profanity OVER A CUP OF WATER. The service got worse when he came back. Improvements: I would like to see a complete change of management. And an etiquette school for the entire staff and a cleaner environment especially in the kitchen.. Other: there is an old Chinese proverb that says: “A man that does not smile should not start a business”. more

Good the first time 9/22/2005

This is one of those places that taste good the first time, or after not being there for a while, but something you get sick of fast. It's a huge place, and because it's in PB, it tends to be very busy. There are a variety of items, featuring american, chinese and japanese food. Mainly it is chinese food. Thrown into the mix is chicken wings, skewers, some simple sushi rolls. The price is pretty cheap, about $10, which includes drinks. However, there is a taste to the place, where you get sick of it fast. If you've never been, you'll probably enjoy your first experience. I would recommend maybe one trip, or maybe one trip every couple of months. Too many visits and you'll quickly hate the place. more

Great Chinese Buffet 8/7/2005

In my opinion, this is the best Chinese buffet in San Diego, taking price into consideration. Last time I went, their lunches were 6.99. Even the dinner price is aournd 9.99. This price also includes your choice of soft drink. This is fast food price for what I consider good quality food. They have about 50 different items on the menu, touting Chinese cuisines, Japanese cuisines, and American cuisines. The sushi selection is not that abundant, but since I don't like raw fish that much anyways, that doesn't bother me. Yes, you can pay 2 or 3 times the money for a wider selection of sushi or sashimi, but as far as product of value and yumminess index, this place takes the gold in my book. more

Nice place & good food! 8/4/2005

The food are just like any other typical Asian buffet but they're decent. I think this place looks nicer than the other three buffet places that I've been to, which are East Buffet, VIP and Sunrise. Personally, I'd pick this place over the other three just because it looks nicer though the food are all the same. more
