The meat counter is excellent both in terms of choice and service. The deli is extensive; I've never had anything from it that I didn't like. What no-one else has mentioned are their donuts- they have the best in the whole greater Grand Rapids area!! And if you shop there after 5 or 5:30PM, they're half price- just wrap them up for the kids' lunches and put them in the freezer. Makes lunch-making chores more pleasant and the kids couldn't be happier! re half price more

This store is a great local hot spot to grab a quick lunch, have a cup of coffee with friends or get your grocery shopping done. Almost everyone here is so nice, eager to help, and always have smiles on their faces. Be sure to try their soups - always four varieties and tasty! more

The Grocery store is good. Clean organized and people are friendly. What set this place apart is the meat section. Always the best choices and prices. I drive a extra 10 miles to shop here. more

Forest Hills Foods is a great local store in grand rapids. It is located on Forest Hill Ave and Cascade. It is a family run business that caters to everyones needs. They have just about everything a person could need. There is also a newly renovated deli that serves amazing food. more

Forest Hills Foods is a nice smaller type grocery store that has some specialty things to buy in it. They have a great deli and all the essentials you would need to buy at the store. While i do shop there occasionally, I usually only buy certain items that are on sale for a good deal. I think this store is a lot more expensive then going to a chain store. I guess you are paying for the fancy setting and atmosphere. more

Forest Hills Food is a fantastic local grocery store! Newly remodeled, the store has beautiful produce, great deli items and delicious baked goods. The staff is friendly and helpful, and you don't have to wait forever in line. Staff members also carry your groceries to the car! Prices are very reasonable, and the store is very clean. Forest Hills Foods is a very nice and extremely popular grocery store. For a small grocer, the produce, meat/seafood, and bakery products are all of an extremely high quality. The store has an extensive wine selection and a walk-in beer cooler. Being in an affluent area of Grand Rapids, there seems to be a higher focus on organic and natural foods than larger retailers such as Meijer. What separates Forest Hills Foods from other small grocers includes a full sit down deli, a Fifth-Third bank branch, automated bottle returns, and a small floral shop. However, Forest Hills Foods retains some small grocer features, like having bag boys and girls that will carry out your purchases. As a consequence of all the amenities, the store is extremely popular. You may have some difficulties shopping here during peak hours. more
