Executive Inn of Knoxville

Wow, those previous reviews are NOT telling the truth. I lived in South Knoxville for 7 years, about 2 miles from the Executive Inn. When my husband and I were moving from Knoxville, TN, to Raleigh, NC, on July 3rd, we needed a place to stay so we could finish cleaning and removing the big stuff. At approximately 3 p.m. on the 2nd, we rented a room at the Executive Inn and were told that it was quiet, safe, and family friendly. When we returned that night at around 9:00, we couldn't enter our room because there were drunk men in front of it. (They had open containers of both beer and liquor and were being very loud and on-the-edge of violent.) In the short time we spent trying to get to the room and then complaining at the front desk, someone tried to get into our moving van. There were 5 or 6 men in the parking lot, drinking and yelling. There was broken glass everywhere. We asked the front desk to refund our money, since we refused to stay there. He declined to refund our money and advised us to call the manager the next morning. On the morning of the 3rd, my husband called the manager (who wouldn't give us his name), and the manager said that the drinking wasn't his concern, nor were the men in the parking lot. He told us we should expect drunken behavior and lots of noise since it was a holiday weekend. My husband explained that there was an issue of safety, not only noise. Then the manager hung up on my husband. I've reported this complaint to the BBB, but they advised me to contact a different agency Avoid this establishment. It's not worth saving a few dollars to have your stuff stolen and maybe even worse. more

You simply can't beat the great value, cleanliness and friendly staff of the Excutive Inn. I am originally from here and I have to come back quite often. I know I can always count on a clean room, a comfortable bed without breaking the bank! more

Executive Inn is a well maintained facility in a beautiful setting .Located in the Foothills of the Smoky Mountains,just around the curve and over the hill, and you 're in nearby Gatlinburg TN., and Pigeon Forge,TN.( Home of Dollywood !) This is such a lovely place to stay, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are so homely and clean, there is a pool as well for those sunny days, shops and restaurants close by, in walking distance from the centre of knoxville, not to far away from smokey mountains and Dollywood! i believe that the most helpful gentleman that we met across the whole of america was called John and we would like to thank him for making our stay in knoxville so enjoyable. Recently on my visit to Smokey Mountains, I stayed at the Executive inn. It is really affordable and best of all very close to smokey mountains and downtown knoxville. Rooms are clean, close to a lot of good restaurants and the University, plus just 40 miles from Gatlinburg, Pigoen Forge and Smokey Mountain. Great place to relax for a really affordable price..... Pros: Centrally located if visiting Smokey's or Downtown Knoxville more
